I turn to you in a time of great need!
I broke my right arm this week playing football (soccer) and will have to wear a cast for probably 4 weeks minimum. The cast is on in the most retarded position possible so I can't use my mouse or keyboard with the right hand, making me pretty much left handed when it comes to gaming for a while.
Needless to say I imagine it to become boring pretty damn fast, since I probably won't be able to work either (gotta see what the doc says on monday).
I've been mostly playing SC2, DotA2 and Red Orchestra 2 but none of those is an option now

| I would recommend turn based strategy games. Civilization V and Total War: Shogun 2 would be great for someone in your situation. Otherwise you could always become a custom game monster and play tower defense and the like. |

Dwarf fortress is very doable with only one hand, since you never need to use your mouse. If you've never played it before, I can guarantee that you will have a very fun time learning it. It's a great game that everyone should try, so why not now? I'll get together some links for you.
Quickstart guide. This is a pretty good tutorial for learning the basics. In addition, you should check out the rest of the wiki when you don't know what something does. Even if something sounds mundane, you should probably check it. Giant sponges and carp may be unassuming, but both can quickly dispatch unassuming dwarfs (plus giant sponges are nigh impossible to kill). If you aren't a geology buff, it will help you identify the various rocks you mine, because instead of iron there's limonite, magnetite, and hematite. Instead of copper, there's tetrahedrite. Lead is galena, etc.
The official website. You can download the vanilla game here, but I do not recommend vanilla because there are tons of nifty (and necessary, like dwarf therapist) addons out there. So instead you should download...
The lazy newb pack. This has a bunch of good features. You can disable aquifers in world gen, which I would HIGHLY recommend if you are a new player. It comes with tilesets which, for people like me who dislike ASCII, make the game easier to understand and digest. I play with the ironhand one. It also comes with some addons. Every time you play fortress mode, you should at least open dwarf therapist. It helps you manage tasks and analyze your collective skills. Don't do too many things to make the game easier, like disabling sieges, limiting children, mining straight for candy, or editing the raws because the difficulty of the game is what makes it fun!

its a city building game on islands. Rightclick opens the build menu, game pauses when you open any menu or build something, no unit control in fights neccessary.
hey GDR, by the way, is there a mod or something that notifies me when my troops get attacked on the evil genius world map? i played the game very shortly, but i always had to open the stupid world map all the time so my units wont get killed.
edit: actually, i think any building game works.
Som city 4 deluxe, Emperor: rise of the middle kingdom, theme hospital, rollercoaster tycoon 2 or 3, railroad tycoon 2 are all excellent.

Heroes of Might and Magic! Turn-based Strategy Game, no time pressure or rush. Can play it entirely on mouse alone. Even using the left hand, it'd be fine.
