So Pax is right around the corner. I finally got my Pax pass in the mail and was trying to put together a schedule of what I want to do. The schedule seems incomplete because I really felt like there was going to be some more PC tourneys there. Not sure exactly which events on the mainstage are worth going to and stuff like that.
So I am asking the community what events and games are you trying to hit on the schedule? What did you like last year that I should try and visit and was super fun?
I am bummed that I didnt get a BYOC pass this year, but hoping some people have them that I meet and I could just join them but I really don't know much about this.
Finally I hope that there are some awesome TL people that are trying to meet up and maybe grab some drinks during or after the event. Should be a fun weekend! |

I will be attending. Honestly, I was hoping for a SC2 tournament of some type to play in/watch a bit of while I am there. Not sure if that is something that might still be included or not.
I did not go last year but I went in 2008/2009 and spent most of my time in the expo hall. There were a ton of things to play/check out and significantly long lines for some of the more popular stuff (SC2:WOL, Fallout 3, WotLK, etc) so it was easy to spend three whole days almost entirely in the expo hall.
The convention slows down a lot after the expo hall closes for the day but there are freeplay areas for tabletop and console games and a lot of people to hang out with/meet. If a number of TL posters are interested, I would be down to meet up for drinks one of the nights we are there. |

I tried to buy them the day after they came out, and I could only get Sunday tickets. I didn't feel like driving to Seattle just for Sunday so didn't buy them  . Last edit: 2012-08-18 17:00:33 |

Someone buy me a pass for next year while they're on site this year please.
I was unable to go because of work this year so I'm kind of fucked.
If there is a meetup outside of PAX but during it, like at a restaurant or something, I'd go. |

Hey my friend/brother is going to be DJ'ing the OFFICIAL afterparty of PAX & The International sponsored by Riot Games at The Social on Capitol Hill on August 31st. There's going to be NO COVER and there will be clean bathrooms as well as a heated smoking area. | Red Bull is doing their 2v2 audience involvement tournament from 8-11 each day, and there are Barcraft plans in the works to supplement it since only people with badges can get in. I'm sure when that's finalized it'll be up on TL or Reddit. Also I believe there's the EWSC finals at the Plantronics booth at some point during PAX. |
