season 5 ro8-finals coullddd work if they speed it up a bit, right now ro8-finals were planned for mid-late dec for season 5 and blizzcup for dec 24-31 i think haha but afaik ipl5 is no longer ro8-finals, they're changing it

| I only read the OP of that but I think all he said was that they were looking into changing what they were going to do for GSL. I really hope it will be Finals only, RO8-Finals would absolutely kill that season of GSL without a doubt. If GSL players wanted to play a tournament like that then they would play in a tournament like that, that crap just doesn't belong in GSL. |

I'm still super-surprised why IPL receives so much hate when the dates was announced way ahead but everyone says that it was announced with so short notice. And when MLG announced their qualifiers the very same week, then they didn't receive even one tenth of the criticism IPL got.

I think I'd be okay with GSL Ro4 on Thursday night and then Finals on Saturday/Sunday night. Would give 2-3 days to prepare, not as much as usual, but still a decent amount of time. But definitely not Ro8-Finals. |

If anything, I see GSL now has Code S5 Ro4 scheduled for the 30th of November. That would line up with IPL5's rumored Late November date. Could have the GSL Ro4 on the 30th and then the finals on the 1st/2nd. Then we have to wonder if IPL would really clash with WCG. I sure hope they don't start gsl 5 before gsl 4 finals are done. That would be even more retarded than ro8 at IPL because someone could get hot for gsl 4 and then you break up their rhythm by delaying finals and starting gsl 5 before gsl 4 finals are played? |
