Hi TL,

I've always been of the opinion that watching sports (and games) is more fun if you are cheering for or against a particular person. Unfortunately, I don't follow the SC2 scene very closely at all (spoiler tag has today's TSL results) + Show Spoiler +.

Thus, I decided to start this thread to hear about some of your own favorites and why you are cheering for them. Maybe I can get excited about a particular player too, and we'll all have a much better time watching TSL4 ^_^ Players whom you are cheering against are also encouraged!

Vortix. His interviews (here and here) make him seem like a really nice and intelligent guy, and I enjoy his playstyle. And he is one of the few foreigners remaining; TSL wouldn't be the same without surprising foreigners going far.

I cheer+ Show Spoiler [tsl4 spoils lol] + for CoCa, mostly due to the similarities between him and famous gangster rapper Eric Lynn Wright.

Squirtle! I just like his personality. Always so serious! And his past GSL run was amazing, especially the finals. So close and intense! If you havent seen them, then stop reading this ASAP and go look for it. I also loved the emotion we saw from him at IPL finals vs aLive, which is another factor. I just love passionate players I guess! It means they care

i am cheering for creator since it seems that he's been a large force in revolutionizing how PvT is played and seems to be on the cusp of doing the same for PvZ - except he hasn't had a huge breakout yet. People who consistently follow SC2 probably know about him, but he's no household name and I would love for it to be so!

My #1 pick to win would be First

He's an ex-broodwar progamer who joined Incredible Miracle about 8 months ago and has been rising fast, he recently got top 4 at the MLG Summer Arena and was a key player for IM in IPL TAC 3. When he's playing his best It's scary how good he is.
