• People who play many hours every day - As the captain of the team, I am not working or going to school and am fully dedicated to dota right now. The others guys do have a couple things going on in their lives but generally we are able to get in over 60 hours/week. We realize most people can't do this and that is one of the major reasons it's so hard to put a serious team together. Unfortunately if you aren't willing/able to make a serious and consistent time commitment this isn't the team for you.
  
• People who are extremely proactive about improving - We talk openly about each others mistakes without really criticizing. We watch certain parts of replays for losses or hard fought wins. We talk about OUR OWN mistakes so as to have them out in the open and make sure they are being addressed. We will play the same hero for 50 games in a row if necessary. If any of this is too tryhard for you then this isn't the team for you.

Fluent English is 100% mandatory, and no other languages will be accepted.
Voice communication is also mandatory. We use Skype, so you'll need to
download that, and have a GOOD SOUNDING microphone. You must be present
for most practice sessions.

We're only looking for truly dedicated players. If you're not willing to
take and give criticism, analyze replays, work on improving as a player
for the good of the team, and be present for practices, don't apply. If
you are accepted, and then never show up, you will be kicked, simple as
that. Living local (Maryland) would rock, as we go to local tournaments,
but that doesn't really matter. We generally play with local sub-ins.
You really could just be a mid-skilled player, but as long as you're
DEDICATED, that's fine. It's far more difficult to find players that care
about being serious, than super pro players. If you practice and improve,
and you make a serious effort at doing so, you will get better. I know,
as I've taught many players in the past. If you're dedicated, you'll
quickly increase in skill. Skill at the game can be improved. Laziness
won't be tolerated.

Also, we're competitive because that's what's fun to us. It isn't
supposed to be a job, but it is not to be taken lightly. We play serious
because to us, playing serious is more enjoyable. We would hope that you
