i wish i could have watched yesterdays VODs before todays livestream, unless they dont talk about yesterdays game (im not sure if this is standard, i dont think so). I think its a pretty broken system.If they mention yesterdays games its a forced spoiler if i was out of the house on Saturday and relaxing on a sunday afternoon and want to watch live, which describes about 90% of my weekends.
Really a bummer.

ya it seems that way i just found out right now wen i got to game five and couldnt find a game 6

Yeah this is really bugging me because I was working on Sunday and couldn't catch the games and now I still can't watch them because the last two games aren't even uploaded... |

The system for VODs for TSL is soooooo lacking. Many tournaments have videos on youtube a couple of hours after the games finish, doesn't TL have the resources and means to make this happen?
Its sad that if you miss Saturdays games, you cant watch them before Sundays games and get spoiled by the casters talking about who is already in the next round.
I saw some threads about there being audio problems on some vods, it taking days and days to upload the videos, being forced to be spoiled on Sundays..
The tournament is AMAZING and I'm loving it, don't get me wrong, but if the vods were updated as quickly as other good tournaments, there would be basically nothing to complain about. (I'm sure people would find something anyway

| There aren't any official spoiler-free links. The only decent way i can think of, is to use sc2casts.com. But it takes a while, until they are up there. |

Since you ask for it, here are spoiler-free links for games 1-5 of the matches, but games 6-7 (if necessary) are still not uploaded, and I can't guarantee that you won't hear spoilers for earlier matches in the commentary of the later ones. Some of the TLPD links may be wrong; didn't think it was worth correcting those.

I think the expectations for VODs is a little extreme based on the reactions here. If you really want instant access to VODs you can purchase TSL+ and watch the unedited twitch.tv VODs. Otherwise, you have to wait for us to cut the VODs into individual games, encode and upload them. This weekend alone generated over 30 GB of 1080p content, which takes many hours to upload on a standard US internet connection. One problem that occured was that our VOD system was still set for Bo5, so it missed several games. These are uploading now.
The TSL4 website won't be updated until all VODs are available and can be made spoiler-free. Watching on youtube is never guaranteed to be spoiler-free, it's more of a raw feed of the VODs for those looking for earlier access. I think a 48 hour turnaround time on VODs for the amount of content that was generated is more than acceptable, and is definitely faster than many other tournaments that don't just rely on their twitch VODs. |
