Well... I can barely operate my Laptop anymore.
Crashes happening (today around 10 times):
1. Bluescreen 2. A permanent loud sound (no beeping) and no screen, I have to turn it off through power button 3. It simply turns itself off (overheating I guess? 4. The monitor has a massive graphics error (means a weird pattern in all colours is replacing what I've been doing previously)
I can't recognize any regularities... I suspected its due to overheating, but its happening with low temperatures, too (although more often with higher temperatures).
When starting a game the laptop crashes in 90% off all cases, with all errors happening beside bluescreen
I can operate google chrome, and watch a video or so, normally, sometimes it turns itself off even then...
Laptop Data: Dell, Inspiron, 5gb ram, cpu is quad core 1,8ghz, ati radeon mobility 5400, 3 years old now...
Ask me if you need more data...
Has anyone an idea what to do to fix this? I did cc cleaner etc. Or just what is causing this?
Thanks |

In general with laptops they degrade over time and with lots of use.
I imagine if you play games on it consistently it is operating constantly at high temperatures which is bad for the parts.
Laptops dont have a large life expectancy so it might be worth considering a new laptop, or a gaming pc if you want something with greater longevity
