I got the dreaded blue screen of death!!
I dont know what i did. I just turned my laptop on and it got to this after about 5 min.

The stop code is 0x0000001E

How do i fix this??
Also how do i reboot my laptop from the blue screen?? It just stays there.
When i manually press the power button and i got start it up, it goes to blue screen in about 5 min again.

what do u mean info about your computer?
is it enough when i say its an hp envy 4
or do i have to say other things go?

According to mutant's link

There is insufficient disk space on the drive on which you installed Windows.
There is an outdated or incompatible third-party driver (or drivers) installed on your computer -- for example a faulty video driver.
There are system BIOS incompatibilities.

I'm leaning towards drivers. Have you installed any recently or changed the bios/updated the bios?

Im ganna have to say no becuz i dont even know how to change the bios or update it.
Is it the same as updating windows??

Hammer F8 during startup to get into safe mode. Use system restore to go back a few days.

Hi M8,
I mean, stuff like the Operating system. Win XP, Win 7. and like this; http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=361948 NO..It's not enough to say "it's a hp envy 4", 'cos then we have to search the internet to find the info needed to Start to help you.
1). Check if you have enough disk space left. If so, reboot into Safe Mode.
2) Go into Safe Mode with internet connected and see if the BSOD comes back after 5 mins or so.
If not, download Slimdrivers while still in Safe Mode and check for drivers update.
The only way to get out of a BSOD is to turn the laptop computer off by holding down the power switch.
