Okay so I'll preface by saying I'm a longtime SC2 player, occasional forum poster. I play zerg, but I've had an idea for an awesome terran-related mod that I don't have the skills to realize. I imagine it wouldn't take that much time to implement for someone who knows what they are doing.
The "DAMN JIMMY" Mod (no modding now, would need to be a UMS of standard ladder maps)
It's really simple in essence: EVERY unit response for the marine is replaced by Tychys Findlay's infamous "Damn Jimmy". He says it with a variety of intonations throughout the various cut scenes of the storyline, so there could be variety of "Damn Jimmy" responses. See below for two examples, but there are surely more:
So for example in the mod, when controlling a marine or group of marines: Move command: "DAMN JIMMY" Attack command: "DAMN JIMMY" Spawn from Barracks: "DAMN JIMMY" Stutter Step" DA.DDA..DAMN JIM..AWW HELL JIMMY" Death response: "DAMN JIMMY"
and so on.
The best idea ever? Maybe.
If anyone else who appreciates the true majesty of this concept wants to voice their opinion, or take on this little project and share the results, please do.

I absolutely hate Tychus' accent. But if people want this, they should try to get it (even though modding is impossible now I believe?). I think a unit saying the same thing over and over would make my ears bleed.
Comparing BW with SCII is like comparing a beautiful three-master sailing ship with a modern battlecruiser. Both are beautiful in their own way, both perform the same task, but they are worlds apart in how they are built and how they are steered.

yes, you are absolutely right, I will amend my original post.
Is it possible to make a custom map where this will be implemented? Like the same as ladder maps, just Daybreak LE (DAMN JIMMY Ver 1.0) or something like that?
