Patch 1.5 Optimization Process

Well, its now been over 3 weeks since the release of Patch 1.5 and since then I couldnt get it to work. The downloader downloads the Patch as it's supposed to, then it closes and the new loader starts, telling me it needs to optimize the game and it would take approximately 15-60 minutes.

The Problem I have now is that the optimization process gets stuck at 69% and doesn't go further. I had it open for several hours and it wouldn't go. There are plenty of threads about this on the Blizzard Forums, but no real solution. I pretty much tried everything they were suggesting but it just won't work.

I personally think it's really bold that blizzard still hasn't done _anything_ about this after more than 3 weeks. I have so much free time now but can't play sc2, which is really annoying. I really hope anybody here can help me and maybe has a solution. Couldn't find anything on these forums aswell, sorry if I missed it.

1.5.2. on NA is not live yet, but will be in a few hours. Chill out. Read a book, go outside or something.

This part is odd... I don't remember a % for the optimization process, only for the downloading. The launcher launches, tell you it's optimizing, and then when things are done the download starts... WoW has something similar and IIRC again there is no % listed

I have the same prob and no solution.
if it helps somehow, you can still start the game via the starcraft2 editor.
"try out the map" then leave it and you are in the starcraft 2 menu. but I think then it is still unpatched

Now it says, when starting the launcher, "UnableToInitializeStreaming". Any idea?

My router was disabling anything with "torrent", I deleted that word from the list and then it seemed to work... which is really stupid tbh

I have to say, that's pretty amusing. What brand do you have, so I can forever steer away from it?
