I don't know whether to laugh or to cry, but this is the best one i've read for a while and I want to share with you.
I posted a link to the original spanish site below, but let me translate some phrases (finally the $200 I spent on learning spanish in the university is useful) here for our discussion:
An elderly woman started a spontaneous project restoring a work of art that decorated one of the walls of the Sanctuary of Mercy, a small church situated in a sixteenth century inn, owned by Hospital Sancti Spiritus, in the town of Borja ( Zaragoza). It turned out to be a biblical disaster.
The City Council contacted the family of the original painter, who in the coming weeks would donate sketch of that painting, and are now assessing the damage. The next step will be figuring out the session materials used "restorative impromptu" architect of the mess for a possible recovery, and on Monday a professional restorer will assess the damage.
Here is the masterpiece: + Show Spoiler + Here's what really happened + Show Spoiler +

| That is pretty hilarious XD I really like how he made the beard look likes it's under the chin, so it just makes it look like he has a super fat distorted face. |

| I'm so confused why that person would try to restore the painting, the head, yeah that takes a real artist to restore, but something like the very bottom I'm kind of at a loss for words, His arm (or at least the red clothing) is where the scroll has been painted in. The only part done reasonably was the red clothing (excluding the part I just mentioned.) |

I know right!
No, he is legally beyond criminal punishment as he is an octogenarian. I bet the most the local council could do is issue a Restraining Order for him to restrain his artistic impulses! |

Dear God! I'm dying from laughter!
His thoughts might have run as such:
Oh... poor Jesus getting all worn and faded, here let me work something Yes, nice layer look on the robe. Uh-oh... I think I got the eyes wrong! Damn I never seem to get them right. Let me do the hair Well, at least it still looks like hair. Oh shit, I messed the face. Anyway, let me just add a scroll here as a final touch! Ta-da! Oh fuck.
But to be honest, I'd probably come up with the same thing if I was asked to do it.Last edit: 2012-08-22 05:30:21 |

Haha yeah wasn't this exact scenario a main feature of one of the Bean films?

I think that was the first wide release Mr. Bean film in the US.
The guy is senile or close to it already. |
