Hey TL community,
Lagcraft here. My friend NoMicroWin and I are running a 15 hour charity stream today. I worked at an NGO ( non-governmental organization) over the summer for 6 weeks in Thailand at a place called Warm Heart.
In Northern Thailand, 30% of the population is living on under a dollar a day. At Warm Heart, the organization helps the local Northern Thai people and Hill Tribes by providing education, housing, and food for the children along with fair pay employment for the adults.

We're planning to run this stream to raise money for the foundation to help pay for the children's housing, food, and schooling, as well as the community-run programs.
Warm Heart has recently been struggling with funding, juggling multiple microenterprise projects, after-school programs, programs for the disabled and elderly, english programs, all alongside feeding, housing, and caring for thirty five children five to seven days a week.
Without donations or funding, Warm Heart will have to drop many of its projects and programs to keep the children in school.
Viewers will be able to donate via a website called ChipIn located under the video on Twitch.tv. Donaters who give a dollar or more will be entered into a raffle to win a Razer Goliathus Mousepad as well as free coaching giveaways.

3 PM Eastern - 6 AM Eastern
(12 PM Pacific - 3 AM Pacific)
Warm Heart just recently had their 5th year anniversary, hence the 15 hour charity stream. The stream will be broken up into three 5 hour sections with breaks in between sections.
A large amount of the stream will be NoMi (Protoss) and I (Terran) alternating games on his stream (2 webcams, both masters).

Ian "NoMicroWin" Howells is a Starcraft 2 streamer/player currenetly on Team Metagaming. Since he played Protoss in Brood War, NoMi figured it would be a good fit for him in SC2, which was indeed the case. NoMi was a bit of a late bloomer getting into Masters (played something like 75 games over a 24 hour span while still in diamond), but since then, he has been tearing it up in some Local Lans and z33k Daily tournaments, and he can only see a bright future with SC2 as he progresses forward as a player.

Jacob "Lagcraft" Moffatt is a Starcraft 2 streamer/player. After trying all three races in Broodwar, he finalized on Terran, the race that suited him best. Continuing with Terran, he has creeped his way up the leagues since release and has recently gotten to masters. On his way, he placed in multiple Playhem Diamond Dailys and continues to develop and learn as a player.

This is correct. We asked around a week ago for some help/sponsorships but we weren't able to even hear back from them, let alone obtain a partnership. We are going to work on gaining a partnership for the next Charity Stream, but without marquee name players/companies putting their name behind it, it will have to start out as a grassroots operation.
We hope to implement donation matching features and partnerships next time around. This stream is aiming to build a follower base for our next event, solidifying sponsorships and partnerships based on supporters from the community.

Just sent a small donation (for some reason it still says you're at 0). Would've loved to send more but I'm hard pressed for cash these days (stopped working to finish a degree). It's great to see someone care for the children. GL HF! Probably gonna come and watch the stream if I can't sleep at night.
Very nice micro/battle control by NoMicroWin! I'm actually enjoying this... never field I'd enjoy watching FF's come down. Probably because it's a zerg and not a terran that needs to deal with it.
