I don't know much about blight gaming but i definitely know about cArn, and i am happy to see that he found a new home ! He started to stream again the past days and i hope we'll see him attending the GSL qualifiers soon.
If you don't know about cArn, he's not the counter strike legend but a former DotA player that was one of the first (if not the very first) foreigner to go to korea and try to compete against the best. I was always skeptical about his move because unlike the other foreigners trying to get in the GSL he had no experience playing RTS games at the highest levels, but through hard work and perseverance he almost made it in the GSL !
So let's hope he's motivated again, and that with the support of a team he will dedicate himself to achieve the goal he fixed himself while coming to Korea =)
Here's a little exert from the article on blight gaming :
“It has been a while since I left eSahara, but I’m happy to now find a new home in Blight, a team that stood out for its serious and professionalism from the first exchanges we had. My goals haven’t changed, I still want to be the best player I can be and compete against the best in the GSL, but with their support I will also now be able to play in more tournaments which I’m extremely excited about ! Expect to see once again much more from me in the upcoming months, whether it is in tournaments, on my stream, or more.” – Souaib“ cArn-” Hanaf
you can check the full article on their website http://blightgaming.com/2012/08/24/our-french-starcraft-player where you can learn that he use his handsome body to win some cash.

Carn has great persistence in his attempt to be a top pro. I really hope his hard work pays off someday.
Congrats on the new team

I wonder if Blight Gaming is still the Blight Gaming I know or if they have changed there act recently ...
GL to cArn in Blight. Hopefully they support him.

So cArn is not the same as the swedish CS player ? Because for one second I really thought it was the CS player starting to play SC2 which sounds weird since CSGO has been on beta for a while and just released
How confusing, But GL HF to him

Yup... They have a pretty bad history within the DotA and CS community.

Go cArn, code A qualifiers are for you !
(A little editing mistake at the end of the quote btw)

Blight??? are you serious?? cArn just made the worse decision in his entire career. pretty much this
The blight gaming organization is a organization which is notorious for not paying travel expenses, or properly sponsoring players, or saying they are going to do something but not. This has happened(and been reported on) to like 10 teams, but people keep falling for it.

Fragile: "Do not play for Blight"
(ESEAnews) - Without a doubt, the biggest buzz-story of the offseason has been the centered around Blight Gaming LLC and its president/CEO, James 'blackfoger' Larsen, who has been outright accused by former and current Blight tag-wearers of not following through on payment for such costs as plane tickets and hotel bills for the recent ESEA Season 6 LAN Finals.

TLDR: Blight has a bad financial history in esports, terrible decision by cArn.

yea, heard some not-very-nice things about Blight Gaming, haven't gone looking for any info on them recently, but I also haven't seen any apology posts from them regarding all the people they harmed.

Alright I feel the need to post since it has become apparent that there might be some issues with not delivering. Yes in the past we made some grave errors with how we handle our sponsorships and paid dearly for them. We have apologized the teams we have hurt in the past as well as tried to right any wrongs commited. Many stories have been blown out of proportion or two sides to every tale, not here to get into that. We have addressed with our players before signing them of our past and how hard we will work for them now.
We currently sponsor several other teams and would like to say we have a good repore with many teams we "wronged". There will be a few more announcements of sc2 additions.

you never apologized you just ignored, anyways, good luck with this.
