Hello, TL!
I've decided to stream some dota 2 every now and then, because why not. I've played dota (and hon) for roughly 3-4 years now, I currently queue in the very high matchmaking bracket and I consider myself a fairly decent player, but I'm not good by any means. Since I've managed to get my stream to work while using a microphone, I'll try to keep the stream somewhat educational and explain why I do certain things, what I should've done instead when I fuck up, things like that.
My favourite hero of all time is Shadow Fiend, but when playing dota I'll typically just play whatever role I feel like, so you should expect to see most kinds of heroes get played.
I may listen to music while streaming, and I may not, it all depends. If I am though, expect ANYTHING, I've got a pretty wide taste for music, so there is very likely going to be stuff playing that you don't like, at one point or another.
Also, as a last and final warning, I'm not promising that the stream is going to be 100% free of profanity, dota DOES bring the worst out in people, but I will try my absolute best to keep it at a minimum!

It's online now. I think, at least.

Streaming! Going to give it a try with commentary now, I played around with my sound settings earlier, so even if my microphone isn't the best, the audio quality shouldn't be THAT terrible. So let's just hope FFsplit doesn't decide to randomly stop streaming!

when would you recommend going for Blink/Yasha on SF instead of SB? and what first, Blink or Yasha?

If mobility is a huge issue then blink might be better than shadow blade, but generally I like shadow blade better since it got buffed, since the stats on it are quite good for the cost.
And I'd almost always go blink before yasha if I was going that route, before or after bkb depends entirely on the game though.
As far as midas goes, I think it can be pretty good if you're not too concerned about how your team is going to do early/mid, since it delays your core items, but it can give you pretty good level advantage if you're not punished too hard for it though. Personally I don't really get it a lot, but I know that there are a few very good SF players that like to get it, so it comes down to preference I guess.
Also apparantly my stream crashed somewhere in the middle of that game, apologies  Was a pretty bad game anyway, had basically won at like 15 mins then they turtled in base for another 35 mins because reverse polarity is a cool ability.Last edit: 2013-03-24 07:54:47 |

| Going live for a while, first game of the day I want to try playing a quas/wex invoker, which I haven't been successful with at all since all the nerfs/changes after TI2. Maybe I'll do better now, who knows. |
