This happens after basically EVERYTHING I try to do with xsplit. I can't stream, but I can load and save presentations.

What can I do to correct this?

I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times. Here's more info on what I get...

You should try to uninstall any/all of your .Net FrameWork programs from your add/remove programs link in your control panel. then hop onto google and look up where to dl the newest .Net Framework from microsoft.

If that doesn't work then it is a registry error, Good Luck! Hope this helped ^^

It is a registry error. I just uninstalled and reinstalled .NET framework and nothing happened.

so how do I fix a registry error?

You can try running the CMD command sfc /scannow

I would not be doing anything on your computer when you run this command as it goes through your computer and validates all important system files (like the registry, and the DLL files attatched)

The only other thing I can come up with is "ReleaseComObject" error. If you have a firewall that does process monitoring it may be getting in the way. (try running x-split with your security turned off) Or some piece of your computer that X-Split is trying to access is either incompatable, turned off, or locked out. if your running WIndows 7 try running X-Split as admin.

also one more thing to remember is that AMD drivers are heavy on the use of .Net so it may be a graphics driver issue if you use an AMD card.

Did you disable any services in services.msc? Make sure DCOM and COM+ are enabled. Make sure you're installing xsplit as an administrator.

There's nothing wrong with the above suggestions in general, but I think we have narrowed it down (in similar threads) in our support forum.

Assuming XSplit 1.0 works fine, please try this: Go to to XSplit options, second tab, enable WinXP audio.

Let me know if that fixed. We are working on isolating the issue completely before issuing a fix.

Edit: Can you also tell me, if you have a working (enabled) playback and recording device in your computer? Not having this, could be linked to the issue.
