Fnatic adding Trixi, getting ready for DreamHack

Nova left Fnatic a couple of months ago due to not being good enough nor feeling ready for the transition into Dota2. But now Trixi is now back on Fnatic's Dota2 squad. Their first big tournament together, since they disbanded, will be DreamHack Valencia.

Kalle "Trixi" Saarinen:

After being out of Fnatic for nearly a year, it feels good to be back where I belong. The team has changed a bit from what it was back then, but I have known Kai and Adrian for a long time as well. I have played with the team for a good two months now and we have managed to win a couple of tournaments, but also lost easily to opponents who we should have won against. Now with me being signed, and only having to focus on a single game, we can improve massively and hopefully win more trophies. Wish us luck!

Danijel "StreeT" Remus:

First of all I would like to welcome Kalle back to the team. We are very happy to have him back on the roster as he is a great player and an awesome person. With him we have won many tournaments in the past (in HoN) and we will be looking to do so in Dota 2. He knows the whole team very well and he has been playing with us for a couple of months already, now it's my pleasure to say that he is our 5th player and that the lineup is complete for good. I'm also pleased to announce that the team will be attending DreamHack Valencia, in September this year, which will be their first Dota 2 LAN event. Unfortunately, H4nn1 will be in United States during that time which results in him being replaced by Fittske for the tournament in Valencia. It will shake up the roles in the team a little bit, but we are going to Spain with great confidence and are looking forward to good competition.

It's interesting to see that H4nn1 won't be participating with them for DreamHack Valencia.

Their lineup for DreamHack:
se Adrian "Era" Kryeziu
dk Johan "n0tail" Sundstein
il Tal "Fly" Aizik
fi Kalle "Trixi" Saarinen
se Love "Fittske" Brändström (standin)

Nova was an incredible support player when they all played HoN, I'm sad that he felt he didn't belong in Dota because I feel like he would have turned into an incredible support there too, given enough time. It's really nice to see Trixi back with Fnatic though. Just like the old days. Hope they do well at Dreamhack.

I am glad they aren't playing HON anymore , their performance in DreamHON summer was a fucking joke , they sucked so hard it wasn't even funny.

If they are leaving HON for DOTA 2 , then I hope they stick with 1 game , Dota 2 sounds like a good opportunity .

Welcome home Trixi :D

They lost in pool play vs some pretty mediocre teams. It was quite surprising considering how good they were previously (Last Dreamhack winners, etc...).
fuck all those elitists brb watching streams of elite players.

They also won DreamHack Summer 2012. They've won the last 4 times.

DreamHon was a completely different thing, it was seedings for the actual event which coL won, they now have a free trip and 20k

These guys were insane in HoN. Winning Dreamhack 3 years in a row. Also Trixi was probably the best Valkyrie in his time.

Not to mention I believe there was a Slither skin made in his honor.

Good to see these guys focused on Dota2, they were always a pleasure to watch in HON. Best of luck to them.

Trixi was probably the best a lot of heroes in HoN. You simply didn't have enough bans against Fnatic as they were quite dominant with a lot of heroes (especially Gladiator comes to mind).

No they didn't , they got trashed and didn't make it out of their group :S

I'm not talking about Dreamhon , the one that happened at dreamhack , I am talking about the online tournament that concluded recently

I can't help but reading "Fittsked" for "Fittske"... what a dumb name.

(For anyone wondering, fittsked means pussy spoon in Swedish)

Fun to see Fnatic back in full force again. They have great team chemistry, just needs to sit down and commit to one game though.

I don't like HON that much, but I don't hate it either. The reason I say this is because I am really interested in how these guys do once they focus 100% on dota 2.

I want them to be successful in a way, because the notion that Hon players are inherently worse is a dumb idea and unfortunately a lot of top dota players still think that.

We have had very successful dota1<>hon><dota2 players, and this team has one in h4nn1, but the majority of the team is original Hon talent so I hope they post some decent results at least.

Last time they tried Competitive Dota 2 ... we let's just say they tried their best.

I hope they do better this time around.
Ownage, maybe?
