You secured three victories and grabbed your team the victory.

Right now I feel really good. It had been a while since I had been able to grab a victory for my team in a team league so I feel even happier right now.

In the GSTL, so far LG-IM lost 4x in a row. What do you think was the reason?

There was a factor where our team just kind of underestimated our opponent team and also, our players just didn't weren't focusing and were not desiring the victory as much as the other team. But now that our teammates' skills have all become so much better and we got our head in the game, I think we're going to do really great this season.

Were you ready to be sent out to snipe jjakji?

I kept thinking that it was my duty to snipe jjakji. Since I had been able to gain a lot of confidence toward my PvTs, I felt like it would be great for the team if I was sent out to snipe the Terran aces. But then after I was sent out, jjakji put up a much tougher fight than I expected and the game was difficult. I was conscious of the fact that my opponent was jjakji so I wasn't able to play my style and my game. After that game was over, I realized that if I am conscious of who my opponent is, I will get intimidated and be unable to properly play.

Some of your recent losses were to KeSPA players.

RorO is definitely KeSPA top three right now. That's why I'm not ashamed that I lost to him. After losing that match, I realized that I still have a lot of practicing to do.

Even though you were to be jjakji's sniper, why were you sent out as third?

Since I have a lot of experiences in televised matches, I think the coach wanted to give some of our newer players, like True, some experiences in that area. That's why I was sent out as third.

Your next match is against Fnatic.

Fnatic has a really good player per each race. But our team's roster is full of players who can snipe each of those players so as long as we don't let our guard down and pay attention, we should be able to put up a good result.

Are you confident that you'll do well for this season's GSTL?

If I can play like the form I was in today, then yes, I can do well this season. But I need to make sure I don't do something like getting four losses in a row in team leagues again. I am going to have the mentality that I can always just fall flat on my face at any time as I make sure I keep working on dat mind control.

Recently it seems Protoss players are on the rise but what do you think?

There was a time when Protoss was just not doing well at all. Last October, it was so bad that people weren't even considering Protoss to be one of the races and I was even rank one on ladder. If Protoss just had a bit more of a buff back then we would've put up some really great results but we just recently got a buff and so now we are able to put on our wings. Truth be told, even Terrans and Zergs are really powerful races if the game transitions in to late game but it's much harder for them to do that than Protosses. That's why Protoss players feel like transitioning to a long macro game might actually be detrimental to them.

You've recently had to play in a lot of tournaments so isn't practice difficult?

The more games I am scheduled to play in, the more I think I am going to have less and less time to practice. That's why I have to balance well between practicing and resting up if I want to be able to do really well for all these tournaments.

Anything else you would like to say?

I want to thank all my teammates for working so hard since everyone was aware that the GSTL was right around the corner. The coach has been severely disturbed by our GSTL results but I think today's victory lessened some of that pain so I feel good. I also want to thank the coach's wife for always taking care of us. I want to thank the families for always cheering for us and the sponsors LG, Steelseries, Googims, Coca-Cola, and Nvidia. Today, Coca-Cola sent us a brand new refrigerator and I got to say, it is awesome. We will gratefully use it well. LG Electronics sent a new IPS monitor and thank to that, my eyes have been feeling less strained so I feel like I can concentrate on practicing more so I want to thank them for that.
