Savi: Hello MVP, how are you doing?
MVP: I'm good, just chilling,
Savi: So a lot of work has been put into the YSL, and we can see this by the quality casting and overall production value of this whole tournament. How has this been any different from any tournament you have attended before?
MVP: It has been really different, it has been going on for a fairly long time. Also the tournament has really great players. Everyone that has made it into ro32 put a lot of practice and work so that they could win the tourney, usually no one really cares in some other tourney's ive been in. Mostly because no prize pool, but still this is a really great tourney, thanks to all the sponsors and Nina for organizing it.
Savi: Alright so you are 14 years old, so that makes you the youngest probably in the whole tournament. When did you exactly start playing starcraft?
MVP: I started playing starcraft broodwar, 2 years ago. Started off on west playing a lot of fastest and ums games... I ended up figuring out how to play on the other servers. I started going to east and it was a whole new beggining. Then started playing a lot of BGH. A year had gone by and i was introduced to iccup by a great friend LeaRn[wOk]. And so far ive been on iccup ever since.
Savi: Have you been practicing hard for this tournament? It must be a bit difficult finding games on the ladder at times.
MVP: I've been studying more then practicing, i found out i had a huge amount of replays in my auto replay folder and thought about it. I figured out i wasnt lacking practice, but knowledge, so I studied my replays and asked a few gosu friends for tips like bibiane and scan.
Savi: Who do you fear the most in the tournament? Your next opponent is Zangetsu, what's your thoughts on him?
MVP: I fear Wallace the most, in my past games with him I've never won. But i have improved an unbelievable amount and haven't played him since. My thoughts on Zangetsu is that he's a strong zerg player. I am looking forward to playing him...
Savi: Now as a starcraft player, your a bit diffrent. You are probably the most extreme of race pickers, could you tell us your match ups that you prefer and why?
MVP: I prefer tvz tvp pvt. mostly because tvp and pvt are my best matchup's and tvz is the match up i find the most intense, also when i watch games like Flash vs Jaedong on Tau Cross, it truly inspires me to play tvz.
Savi: As far as the brackets go, a lot of your clan mates from "wOk" are in the tournament, do you feel a sense of rivalry or tension?
MVP: I feel a sense of rivalry with Seriosity and munkie[wok]. Both beat me a majority of the time we play, but i feel that they are usually close games or that i had lost due to a few silly mistakes
Savi: Thank you for answering these questions, and letting the community know more about yourself. Do you want to shout out to anyone out there? Any special thanks?
MVP: Special thanks to Ninazerg for organizing this tourney, and slugger[wok] and to anyone else who sponsored this tournament, great to see people putting an effort into making bw last as long as possible <3 And last but not least yourself Savi[wok] for doing this interview.
