My name is Eliot "Yot" Carter -- I'm a Yank residing in Europe. I'm currently in the process of creating a website directed at pay per play tournaments & cash betting on various games -Sc2, Dota2, LoL etc.- (the legal ramifications are the current thing blocking me from putting the website up with full functionality).
However, I'll be organizing a series of weekly & monthly tournaments on Dota2 (no buy ins before the website is launched) with cashprize on the line.
The organization of such events will proceed in the following manner:
-Weekly tournaments: 50$ cashprize ; winner takes all ; 128 teams maximum. Saturday 18:00 CET checkin 19:00 CET start.
-Monthly tournaments: 300$ cashprize ; 200-70-30 split ; 32 teams (top 4 from each week and 16 invited teams). Sunday 18:00 CET checkin 19:00 start.
The winners of the monthly tournaments will also be given 100$ worth of pay per play tournament registrations to spend as they wish once the website is up & running.
The cashprize will be given out via paypal IMMEDIATELY after the win to the team captain.
For those that are worried about payments: I am a professional poker player that has been building towards a consequent bankroll over the past two years. But my love for DotA/Dota2 as a game and as an eSports is pushing me in this direction rather than professional high stakes poker. I also expect captains to put in a word of goodwill for me once the payments are completed.

Moneygamers weekly tournament!
50$ winner takes all
Top 4 teams from each weekly event invited to monthly event where 300$ will be split amongst the top 3 teams (200-70-30)!
-Registration is done via binarybeast. You can find us #moneygamers@quakenet or by sending me an email to yotcarter@gmail.com if you're having trouble registering
-Registration is closed 10 minutes before checkin time
-Registration is open to ALL teams
-The tournament grid will be hosted on binarybeast.com
-Game format: bo1/bo3 finals (weekly) ; bo3/bo5 finals (monthly)

Good manners & behaviour will be required from all participants. Misconduct may lead to disqualification.
Captains must contact each other via our IRC chanel.
Teams may use standins excluding players participating in the weekly or monthly tournament in another team. Immediate action will be taken against teams that do not abide by this rule.
Games must be played within 10 minutes of contact between captains. A team is declared forfeit if they fail to have their 5 players in the lobby within 20 minutes.
Select games will be streamed by moneygaming.
Moneygaming reserves all streaming rights.
