Singaporean veteran, Benedict Lim “Hyhy” Han Yong confirmed through Zenith’s Facebook page his retirement.
hey guys, been awhile.
Like i mentioned briefly back at TI2, ive decided to retire from competitive gaming. Its nice to know that my absence will not go unnoticed, and i really appreciate all the heartfelt best wishes.
Zenith will continue raping under Captain Boxers, and who knows maybe u guys will catch me next year at ti3 if i feed icefrog enough money.

The 22-year-old Singaporean announced through Zenith’s Facebook page that he will no longer play competitively. During the second edition of The International, the former Scythe and Nirvana.my prodigy hinted at his retirement.

he'll be back imho, I think he just has to finish his education & achieve some sort of progress in life. (college,post graduate studies /shrug) His parents think competitive gaming is bringing him down.
I have plenty of Asian friends who experience the same situation.
it seems you have to either be a doctor or a lawyer to satisfy parents. it's the mentality of alot of Asian parents.. to be successful in life, you need good grades, and a bunch of titles behind your name.
alot of Caucasian parents show their support by saying: Follow your heart, do what makes you happy
alot of Asian parents: Do this, don't do that, and you'll be successful.
stark difference in the way they show support.
any way, I wish him luck & fortune fast so he can come back quickly too!
