Plantronics GameCom Hosts European Path To ESWC
Plantronics GameCom is hosting the European path (including UK, Germanic, and Nordic regions) to the Electronics Sports World Cup 2012 World Finals for Starcraft 2 and ShootMania Storm. The qualification process for each game will take place online, with the top two finisher from each European regional qualifier earning a spot to compete against the world’s best gamers in the ESWC World Finals in Paris, France October 31 – November 4.
Registration is FREE and is currently open now until September 28th at 9pm CEST at the official European ESWC online qualifier event site - http://eswc.gamecom.plantronics.com/eu.
The following information pertains directly to the European StarCraft 2 online qualifiers. Note that registration is open now, so be sure to get signed up in order to participate in the event!
- Registration Period: September 17 - September 28 @ 9:00 PM CEST
- Competition Dates: October 1 - October 14
- Format: Single Elimination (Bo3 maps) down to Final 4 Double Elimination (Bo3 maps)
- Prizing: Paid trip to compete at the ESWC Grand Finals in Paris, France in November

This is not Europe for god shake ! this is germany, uk and nordics !
you should really stop with false advertisment, after the "Benelux qualifiers" that were limited to the Netherlands only now we have the "European" qualifiers that are limited to UK, Germany and Nordics...
