Hi, I'm a diamond Protoss player and I'm having problems with heavy marine pressure from two bases in PvT.
Here are two replays, one of me on ladder, the other with a friend (excuse random game chat, talking on TeamSpeak).
In both games I just crumble as I feel like it hits quicker than I'm able to scout with an Observer, so while I'm transitioning into a standard game I just get crushed.
In the second game I made the huge mistake of accidentally triggering a guardian shield, costing me 2 forcefields, which might have bought me enough time to survive, but I'm not sure.
What is the correct way to scout this? I've tried poking at the bunker with my Stalker to gauge my opponent's Marine count but it's usually quite unsuccessful. If I knew what I was looking for I might be able to prepare for it. What should an adequate response be? I figure warping in Stalkers instead of Sentries and attempting to kite my opponent across the map might be the answer, but again I'm unsure.
This should be moved to strategies not in the tournament section, and stalker micro would help a lot, mix a few zealots in and you should do fine. It is the diamond league after all, I personally as a fellow diamond Protoss open one gate in the early game and then pressure with my first zealot and stalker (zealot at 19 stalker at... well when the core finishes have two chrono ready for the gateway and the warpgate tech)
yo mamaship so fat it couldn't fit in the expansion
