The MotM September tournament has arrived! This month we a hosting a $400 prize pool, 64-player competition with public replays casted by ROOTAxeltoss. Each game will be played out on a map pool of the 5 winning maps from the map contest, seen here (MotM September). All of the information on the tournament can be found here:

Prize pool breakdown: $250 winner, $100 second place, $50 third place. Note: the prize pool is not listed on the playhem signup page, we will be transferring directly via paypal.
The Map Pool (aka Top 5 MotM winners)
This month the judges filled out score cards. Much discussion was held afterwards, and we were forced to make compromises to pick the top 5. Not all the highest ranking maps won- a few maps that weren't the highest rated got in because of our discussion. We want a mix of standard maps, innovative maps, and I think we all wanted to see how one or two played at a competitive level. | If only Blizzard would do a 1community map in the pool promotional deal. Have it change every couple of weeks. At the very least. But w/e, they have to start using them eventually, keep up the good work |

Sorry, I haven't quite figured it out yet. I will be updating the thread and other information about the tournament tomorrow. Along with increasing the tourney to 64, the first round is now Bo3 instead of Bo1 (adding legitimacy to the competition, considering it isn't that huge and it has a decent prize pool). |

| Is this a open tournament? I had signed up and can get out of work early for it but obviously don't want to do that if I will be removed. Saw this on playhem then looked up what the story behind it was haha. Sounds like it might be invite only from this thread? A response would be great |
