Well Icefrog doesn´t shy away from admitting mistakes.
If he changed something and it was shit, he is going to revert it.

I know, it sounds weird when on the other hand you have SC2, who´s devevlopers seem to never knowingly revert a change that was bad.

Why would 4.2 agi/level be mistake? Played WC3 DotA and that is the actual Agi gain that PL has now, it really isn't that special though, he now has the highest stat gain in the game next to Pugna's 4 int/level.

Intelligence is one thing, but agility is the stat that scales the most out of all of them.

I don't know how itll play out with pl because the hero has a lot of problems aside from the agi, but it is a big change and could make a big difference to pl's strength.

for pugna getting int, he gets mana, and some damage, but he doesn't rely a lot on his normal attack so that isn't such a big deal.

For phantom lancer getting agi, he gets damage, attack speed, and armor, he is a carry and relies on his agi, and every damage item he gets will be better because he got more agility and therefore attack speed, and the armor scales well into the late game also. And because it's pl, all of those bonuses make his illusions stronger as well, could be a very good buff for him.

like i said it's just a ton of agility

Well for most of the wikipedia guys it is realy interesting. Dont delete ever a skill, just replace him and wait two to three patchs and he comes back. Conjure says hello, but i am also sure, that we will see the little bugs from old NA again.

to the Icarus changes, the whole idea behind the hero changed, not sure if i like it tbh.

Lets start a discussion - shotgun OD

OD kinda of needs armor and attack speed, although they are not the highest priorities of what you need. Eth blade provides this, as well as a multiplier for your ultimate. You can also attack through ghost form - ghost scepter is a normal item on OD in certain situations. Your shotgun can likely kill anyone who either isn't very tanky or doesn't have BKB. From there you can kill the rest of the team with your autos through ghost.

The only barrier to truth is the presumption that you already have it. It's through our pane (pain) we window (win though).

Wouldn't get it if you weren't otherwise getting Ghost Scepter, because you're honestly pretty tight on what to put in other slots. But if you already have Ghost, turning it into EBlade at the end is obviously better than not doing so.

Also note that while you can cast Orb through Ghost Form, you are still restricted from targeting OTHER banished targets with those attacks. So if your EBlade+Ulti don't kill your EBlade target you still have to wait it out.

Since we're on the discussion of heroes for the new eblade. How about pudge? He gets pretty awesome strength gain from ganks. The eblade would give him some much needed armor. Plus it could be used as some extra burst after his hook + ult combo. Prob would get it after you get pipe or at least hood. I could see it being good though.

The important word here are "change that was bad" and "knowingly".
I mean stuff like nerfing Reaper to oblivion, nerfing the Hydralisk(it was nerfed twice, never buffed) or changing the Voidray from "little damage ->high damage" to "mediocre damage -> average damage"
