| Replace Dreamz and Mineski with TnC. They're probably the strongest PH dota2 team. |

Yeh, I wouldn't have minded if they were in the qualifiers, but a direct invite? Also I hope the admins have some strict server rules setup because I can see EG's players complaining about ping.

| Previously AL, N9 is also a well known team, they were in the International 2, sure they didn't post good enough results but it is sure to attract SOME international viewers and bring more attention to the tournament overall. |

| I'm guessing the qualifier is a bit of an afterthought when they realized there are too many teams and N9 was already confirmed through GoDz. |

True, I'm guessing EG was a last minute entry after Demon started asking about it on his Weibo. Otherwise they probably would have been a better choice for bringing in the international viewers.

| I just hope they sell tickets and advertise the shit out of them. Because the Chinese orgs are hardly going to see any return on a bunch of white folk watching their stream, but with some good hype and ticket sales? They'll sell a ton. Last edit: 2012-10-11 23:25:43 |

should be USW since EG has 1 EU and Chinese get 250 ping or so there
edit: oh they're in the qualis
but yeah, should still be USW unless Maelk is man enough to play with 400 ping on Singapore or somethingLast edit: 2012-10-11 23:31:58 |

| It should be whatever the admins want. It's a Chinese competition, if they want to use Asian servers only it's up to them. StarLadder only uses European servers. Last edit: 2012-10-11 23:36:46 |

They stand nothing to lose and even though many people find the chinese boring(or atleast the vocal minority does) people will also want to see high level dota(top 8 azns+na'vi at TI) so I am sure that some people will be interested(if only at first) despite it not being so much of a fan favorite. Plus , like you said its at Chinese hours, this means that it won't conflict with other tournaments. We have nice english casters(Godzand LD) who have established fanbases, I don't expect Starladder or the Defense numbers but I am sure we will have enough people interested who will tune in.Last edit: 2012-10-12 00:25:42 |

| If they do tickets I'm sure they'll sell more than StarLadder. Because they are only streaming on the chinese service. |

what bothers me about that article is that apparently the guy writing it did an entire post, posted it, then decided to ask his chinese friend, so everything in his post except the last few lines is useless. Its like, the problem with news in general, I'm gonna say the first thing that comes to my mind, then get the answer and correct my mistaken responses, instead of the other way around. |

For all the criticism about N9s performance, they are very good at playing with large delays/pings. |

I remember at some point they were always finishing top 3 at every tournament they played at. Also playing in a lot of tournaments. Well they are at least consistent and turn up for their tournaments so I think it is fair enough. |

I agree. Especially after seeing the Chinese teams perform at TI2. But I'm also really excited for the qualifiers starting this weekend. Would be awesome for EG to make it but that's going to be very difficult. |

Looks like they just contacted Valve. Let's hope so.
