In case anybody was interested in hearing out the new tracks available in HOTS from the latest update, I was able to compile them together on my channel. After searching thoroughly for the protoss tracks and any other extras I could find, I came to the conclusion that these are the only 3 tracks/segments publicized as of now.
unless i'm wrong, derek duke also did SC1 zerg music, what is his excuse for the music being so much worse than in BW? In SC2, all but 1 track for Z and 1 track for P are ambient sounds basically, barely "music".
Jason Hayes and Tracy W Bush didn't work on SC2 music, can explain why Protoss music isn't as good (or better... they would have improved as composers) than SC1.
Glenn Stafford came back to do Terran music in SC2 (not sure if he did all T or just most of it in SC1), which explains why T music is generally regarded as better than P/Z in SC2, so either that new terran track isn't his or these composers are putting much less time into these compositions, whether it be time constraints or what...
But still curious about derek duke...
Here's hoping these are incomplete tracks and will be improved on... but even so they will not be close to SC1 music nor the current SC2 T tracks.
My post from other thread:

it seems sad that sc2 is being treated like a minor project, with a new designer/balancer (not that i think they're doing badly) and i guess music composers too... and not to even mention the seemingly small team sc2 has working

(tho they probably won't do this cus they have so many other things to do... maybe do the former not the latter?)
its silly to me that the protoss music is basically an excuse, they reuse parts of SC1 P music in such a way as if they're saying "we're not recycling SC1 P music, we're including snippets of it in SC2 P music to represent the sorrow the protoss have for losing their home)
They talked about the music in the "making of" documentary that came with the collector's edition.
IMO, the composer's reasoning for the Protoss music is kinda bullshitty.
Wow, thanks a lot! time to watch... hopefully ill be enlightened about something
Edit:
LOL i was dead on! glenn stafford did terran music
Wait u gotta be kidding me... derek duke did Z music in SC1 too? there is such a big difference in quality in sc1 z and sc2 z music... music is subjective but i think most ppl will agree with me here ;;
I see derek duke under SC1 music composer, so i guess he did do the Z music too...
but this P composer is new
so what's derek's excuse? that 1 z and 1 p theme are pretty good, i think ppl will know which ones i mean (the ones in the video actually), but the others are mostly ambient sounds
my current theory is that derek may have helped with zerg sounds in a minor role, while the other composers from BW (who aren't in SC2) mainly did Z/P (jason hayes is the 3rd and last composer listed on wiki, but it seems tracy w bush worked on it too)
Edit2: oh so jason hayes left for valve... no wonder dota 2's theme sounds so good
I have to say I'm a little disappointed with the results if this is indeed the new multi-player music. I was hoping to hear new music that was far more immersive and dynamic. What was great about the music in BW was that it took the listener on a journey, you could even say some parts were quite epic. I think Protoss 2 and Terran 3 from BW do what I describe perfectly:

i completely agree with you, especially protoss music in sc / bw made me connect more to the theme of the race, had huge emotional impact, the new protoss music is just bland. We need more epicness !
Also this one gives me chills whenever i listen to it:

Look at WOL campaign tracks. There was ~100 music tracks with short and long lenghts, depending where they are used.
Also one day ago I've already did music extracting:

The zerg track in WoL is the best track in the game and it was better than his previous zerg tracks from BW . Haven't heard the new zerg tracks for HotS yet, but if it's from him I'm sure they'll be awesome.
