Ok, so I'm new here, if this thread is in wrong place please move to correct place.
I have a question about the HotS pre-order with beta key. I live in the UK so if I pre-order from the site does that mean I will get a UK version or a US version? as I don't want a US version for my UK account... while still getting a HotS key
Many thanks

First of all, they are introducing global play, so you can play on all regions, meaning where you buy the game from doesn't matter. Secondly, in the near future, an EU store will be set up, and based in the UK, so you will get a discount from it if you live in the UK. You can preorder the US version, get the beta key, and cancel before it ships without having to pay.
@kollin
It's not the TL store that's offering beta keys, it's Amazon. The TL EU store is nothing to do with the promotion. Also if you WERE to get the US boxed version, shipping and customs fees to the UK would make it far too expensive. The US online version doesn't come with a key.

I know, what I was saying is that a EU store will be coming soon, so he may want to hold out for that before buying anything in a hurry.

Thanks guys, I just searched amazon and saw in some of the comments that for UK players game.co.uk is doing the same offer for £29.99 and you get a beta key set out to you automatically. So I got it from there.

Game are doing a pre-order with Beta key (http://www.game.co.uk/en/starcraft-ii-heart-of-the-swarm-with-free-beta-access-code-190423?pageSize=20).

I pre-ordered from there earlier today from game.co.uk and it was £32.99, now it's £29.99 :|

This is false information - you still have an EU account and need an EU code but you can just select other regions, exactly like Diablo

Does anyone know if the game.co.uk offer applies to people from Ireland? It says UK only on the site and I'd rather not risk it.
Alternatively, does anyone know if there are any Irish retailers making the same offer?

So, you buy something so you can play something you don't want to play earlier?
