"Oh noes I got food poisoning and can't keep down food& fluids. TT feel so sick. Going to hospital soon.."
"Just heard 3 others have food poisoning, too. It's found to be the sashimi at this very upscale hotel restaurant we are all staying at. "
He doesn't mention who exactly the others are or if they are also players. It would be very upsetting if anyone misses the competition due to bad sashimi =(

oh seafood, I never eat seafood when traveling, food poisoning happens way too often
i think its this
hope everyones fine~
What they show the guy eating in the video is sashimi from a specific fish. Sashimi is a way of serving any (most?) fish raw. I've had it a few times, can't say I'm a big fan personally.
What is up with all the bad luck at WCS? First we have Bitter getting mugged, Grubby getting sick, Tasteless breaking a rib. Whats going to happen next? Rain falls out of his chair while cleaning up his opponent and breaks his wrist and can no longer play during the finals?
Sashimi is blowfish? I've heard a lot of stuff about how if the fish is not prepared properly it could even be fatal. But totally sucks....I hope they get better soon.

its a fillet'ing/serving technique, they cut a raw fish into small pieces then your supposed to eat it with a special sauce

its from the simpsons man, wherein Homer thinks he is going to die because the novice sushi chef was sent to cut fugu, the death fish, instead of the master sushi chef who was in the parking lot getting down with Edna Crabapple. The rest of the episode focuses on Homer as he deals with his inevitable death.

Sashimi: A Japanese dish of bite-sized pieces of raw fish eaten with soy sauce and horseradish paste: "tuna sashimi".
