Since the last season prize pool has been increased to $8ooo and will be divided among players as follow:

Format:
Group Stage
24 players divided into 8 groups of 3 players. 1 zerg, 1 protoss and 1 terran. No mirrors.
The group played in 1 Round, Best of 5, Round Robin. In the case of equal rates for all three players held the Tie-break games with the Best of 1 on the same system. Tie-breaks are held until defined all the places in the group.
Two first places in group advance to Playoffs.
Playoffs
Single Elimination. Best of 5. Finals — Best of 7.

Also we have some new maps in mappool for this season.

Why no LiveZerg? 
Where are the matches going to be played? Same system as last time with all games on NA or will you change it?
Thanks for organizing the league, it's always been fun to follow, even though it got a bit difficult in the end with so many postponements, rescheduled games and often no English cast. If you improve on these issues, it'll be even better.

We decided to reduce number of participants to 24, that's why some players from previous seasons are absent.
Games will be played mostly on NA server, but there is a chance, that some matches will be on EU.
Concerning reschedules: we've changed format and system of League in the 3rd season to avoid this. Will it work? We'll see. |

| Great way to kick it off with a showmatch between the previous champs. Interesting format (exluding mirrors in groupstages).. gonna be fun tho. It might be a typo but I counted 7 p tags and 9 z tags in case you are going for 8-8-8 balance. |
