Dabears, you seem to be misunderstanding what I mean by "If I wanted to call you scummy, I would have". This is not me giving an indication as to my read on his alignment one way or another, this was me saying "I will call you scum when I am more confident that it is the case". I found his initial opening to be strange as its not something I can imagine myself doing, so I wanted him to explain his motives behind it. He did, eventually and I can relate to hating the initial policy discussion. I find Thrawn most likely a town with a risky opening. I did what I did early game to try and get a reaction out of him, it wasn't entirely productive, but I have a tentative read on thrawn from it.
Now, I'm going to sit down and watch Palmars video and give my thoughts.

No good is going to come of getting into a shit-fight with dabears, so I wont.
My initial read towards him was "leaning scum" when I questioned his 'case/not-case' that he made on me, but that was a long time ago. Since then he's put a lot of effort into his focus on me and while I know this is misguided, I also feel that it is coming from an honest place, hence why I am not screaming that he is intentionally taking all of my posts out of context, because I do not believe it to be the case.
##Unvote
The person I am interested in right now is Vivax.
On December 11 2012 02:59 Vivax wrote: That VE defends thrawn with another argument than thrawn himself used.
What motivations would he have to defend him if he doesn't even grasp thrawns own point of view? He might aswell have not read his posts, not showing any interest in scumhunting with that trail available.
I might also remind you that VE has been present since 9:44, but only posts as answer to jay at around 10:23. He's shown lack of interest in the matter from start.
My conclusion?Maybe scummy, maybe sloppy. You want me to go further than this? We've got enough time to vote. If I had to do it now it would be thrawn. Fakeclaiming as joke is a pretty shitty move.
This post here, you say that VE shows no interest in scumhunting, is actively lurking the thread and yet conclude "maybe scum, maybe sloppy". This is very wishy-washy and ultimately amounts to nothing. What was the point of pointing this out if you were not going to draw any conclusions from it either way? You accuse VE of scummy actions yet in the same post say that you would vote thrawn over it for his 'joke' claim. To me, this looks like acting like you're trying to scum hunt without actually doing anything.
Then not long after you produce:
On December 11 2012 03:42 Vivax wrote: After thinking about thrawns actions more thoroughly, there's another aspect that I think noone mentioned so far:
If he was a scum fakeclaiming, believing that millers are self-aware, he would take the risk of facing a counterclaim. As others mentioned, he's drawn attention with that. But identifying scum with stereotypes isn't exactly the way. Why wouldn't scum be able to draw attention and get away with it?
He would have made following mistakes: 1. Overlooked the rule about self-awareness. Obvious. 2. Forgotten to consider another miller, under the premise that he really made mistake 1.
I don't believe it was a joke though, rather some sort of strategy. Maybe he would have brought these points up by himself at some point, betting on town not believing that he would do such mistakes.
This post looks to be saying that thrawn has some agenda or strategy by fakeclaiming miller and that you no longer believe it was a joke. Ok, if he's playing with some form of strategy, do you believe it to be a scum one, you do not comment on his alignment either way with this post. It is mostly just a rehashing of what Clarity posted.

That being said, I suggest you go back and read the stuff before you make the same mistake I made with clarity.
Then a vote on Jaybrundage comes seemingly out of nowhere once interest in him picks up in the thread. What happened to Thrawn? or VE? The reasoning for this vote does not appear until after someone presses you for it and the reasoning you provide is just a summary of his actions, and it does not illustrate why Jaybrundage is scum. Furthermore, for someone that said here that you just couldnt let thrawns claim go, you dropped it exceedingly quickly to pursue Jaybrundage. I find your lack of follow-up on VE or Thrawn shows you had no intent on trying to find out their alignment.

The person that I don't like so far is adam. I would arguably say he has been just as, if not more, aggressive with you on thrawn. Yet, he hasn't voted him. He implied heavily that thrawn was scum, yet doesn't think he's scummy when asked directly. Furthermore, he keeps hard questioning thrawn on a response that thrawn basically said he wouldn't say (even though it seems to me that he was joking) even though he said he doesn't think thrawn is scum.
His reaction is feeling very forced That's OK, you don't need to like me. Your 'case' isn't much of one, I said I don't know if hes scum or not, so why would I vote him? I feel I've been very transparent about why i'm doing what i'm doing, to try and get some semblance of a read on Thrawn for his early actions. Right now i'm putting him in the 'I don't know what the hell hes doing' category. Again, he's coming on with this idea that thrawn's actions require extensive analysis, it's very clear (to me at least) what thrawn is doing, and either it means he's scum and fucked up, or he's town and has a terrible plan-idea-thing. I concluded the latter to be the case, but adam seems really confused by something so elementary. He announced in thread to be voting for Thrawn, but the vote never made it into the voting thread, then he builds a case on me around not voting on someone that I had said I wasn't sure of the alignment of. Ill be watching him closely today. Not putting shit in the voting thread is not scummy at all, and hardly worth talking about. I don't know why Adam keeps obsessing about irrelevant things this game. Also "I'll be watching him closely today." made me laugh. It's just how he's saying it that gets my lynchfinger all twitchy. --- In addition to this Adam calls debears out for not voting him, which is yet another thing I find fairly irrelevant, the action of voting adds or relieves no pressure at all in this game, it's the mind behind it that does. Everything Adam has done and said this game feels careful, calculated and often irrelevant and inconclusive. He should be the lynch for today.
I've already defended mostly this same case from dabears, so I'm not going to go over it all again.
How is playing carefully and calculated alignment indicative at all? You may have found my line of questioning irrelevant, but I didn't, hence why I did it.
Vivax, can you expand on your thoughts on VE and Thrawn and why did you drop pursuit of them so suddenly?

That's cause I didn't read the thread properly and thus made shit accusations. I thought you'd be a little more up to date. Or are you just publicly trying to find reasons to drop your vote from me?
I have no vote on you?
And that was way more of an honest admission than I was expecting.

I wanted to see what you had to say about my case before I made a definitive call on you.
Your response was interesting to me, because while you openly admit to not reading the thread and making shit accusations, I honestly wouldn't ever expect that level of honesty from a scum.
