It's weird that they dont hold qualifiers for foreign invites, instead use invites.
More importantly wtf are those invites, dreamertt, dream, lure and slam aren't exactly going to pull in a horde of viewers. It's like they wanted MVP, bling, finale and sen but settled for them.

There is an argument in China recently about inviting Koreans, majority of fans want to put restriction on inviting top Koreans, they usually only invite mediocre Koreans to give Chinese players a decent chance.

It adds international flavour without overwhelming the home heroes

Dream is a Chinese kid studying in UK man, that explains his invite. The other 3 invites can be justified by the organisers not wanting to hand out free cash to better foreign/ Korean players

Also, I am not sure if a lot of the top players are really wanting to go to something like this. It is an offline event which means you will have to stay in China for 4 weeks for a chance at winning $6,400 USD (1st), $3,200 (2nd) and $1,600 (3rd)

How did you find out about those? I bet you watched tournaments.
Same way the rest of these chinese guys will be known, but sadly the chinese scene is so isolated that people hardly know about the players.
I know about half of these players by name, but thats about it, I know Comm won WCS China and XiGua got 2nd at WCG 2011, then MacSed useally eats koreans in china.

MacSed is pretty beast. I've casted him for the ASL, but in terms of protoss, I gotta say Xiluosi is the strongest mainland contender I've seen in PvP.

And LoveCD is the little brother of Sky, a pro across many different games, not just Starcraft.

You probably shouldn't be posting under this topic if those are the only two Chinese players you know, unless ofc you're just wanting to say "Looks cool, wish for the best!"
