Swapping the most scummiest players on both sides works directly counter to the plan. You are trying to lynch all the scummies from one world and replace them with town. If you swap scummiest from both sides that means you forgo lynching a very scummy candidate in order to lynch a perhaps less scummy candidate from the "town" world. BW (Both World) I don't like the plan. As it stands whoever we stands gets 1 cycle of lynch immunity which serves as perpetual distraction to discussion. You pump the "town" world with helpful / active / useful players and the "scum" town will be full of harder to read / inactive / less helpful players. Sure you could shout at them from one world to another but if they can't read one thread they probably can't read. I think we should just swap players of roughly equal alignment, e.g. swap kinda townie with a kinda townie, to avoid the swap.

How does a town decide upon who is most null?

I like austin's explanation (sans the mayoral aspect).

That's not what I said. I said deciding null players is oxymoronic, because getting a read on a player means concluding that they are more likely town or scum. Lurky / useless people generally tend to be scum and you would be lynching into them anyways, so to look for null players makes no sense. Swapping them is the worst thing to do because it alleviates pressure off of them for a full cycle - if you want mafia to play actively you lynch into them, not swap them.

Also, is there a way to subscribe to a thread without posting in it? I don't like having to check other thread manually for new posts.

The initial spat means nothing (or is unsubstantiated by anything meaningful) on both sides. As Palmar says, the only thing worth mentioning is Foolishness' response (or lack thereof). My question is addressing the point that there has been this awkward transition to talking about crossfire - his name was tossed out initially by marv, and strangely echoed by Foolishness. How does that not strike you as strange? Two people butting heads and suddenly all attention is on a bystander? As for the swap I've said my share and it's iGrok town to decide what they do. We should focus on today's lynch.

Also, he hasn't really denied being scum, just sort of has been deflecting the issue by arguing with folks. Also, my maps show that Fool has absolutely no support from anyone on either world. In fact, he even has some negative vibes from Sandro and Yomato, both of whom I consider to be playing fairly towny at this point. Now that I've tilted my hand, it's your turn to explain your reason for voting for him. How is this justification for voting someone? Wouldn't you expect of all people for scum to have some sort of support? My initial vote on Foolishness was for pressure, not because I thought he was particularly scummy. My vote is still on him cause his response itself is scummy.
