Eclypsia disbands

The french team decides to stop the esport adventure, they want to focus on stream with casters.

Eclypsia confirms today that following recent events in its eSports department, the organization is going to concentrate itself on the development of its media and event sections.

Eclypsia has therefore redefined its strategy and is closing its Pro-gaming division. From this date forward, the LoL, Starcraft, Smite and Guild Wars 2 teams are officially released from their commitments to Eclypsia.

Everyone affected by this strategic change was warned in time and Eclypsia is dedicated to facilitating their transition to new organizations.

The entire Eclypsia LoL team, for example, returned to Millenium, to who Eclypsia offered its slot in IEM Cologne to allow its former players to play under the best conditions.

Some people will remain with Eclypsia, where they will take on new functions.

We thank everyone who supported us in this adventure, players and managers, but it is clear today that the conditions for maintaining a sound and effective Pro-Gaming division are not met: contracts, professional projects, commitments, etc.

Ecolypsia enters a new, dynamic phase and is excited for its development, which aims to promote quality journalistic content developed and made available to the public on its website eclypsia.com, and tournaments organized by it. The organization will benefit from this rethought strategy to extend it's know-how to video games other than e-Sports.

Eclypsia was a french team with players like SarenS and Sjow.

Best thing to happen to the e-sports scene in a while. These people have been actively undermining the reputation of E-Sports, either by horrible self promotion like with their "funny" april fools joke, or just by their dubious working methods.

A team disbanding is never really good, although in this case i somewhat agree. Just search for Eclypsia on TL, lol.

After their first mistakes in introducing themselves to the community they were pretty much doomed. They might have had more success if they chose more acceptable methods of making their name noticed in the beginning. This community can be stupidly unforgiving sometimes for good or for bad.

You need to construct additional pylons.
