| Okay Christmas is coming up and I have a budget of about 1000 USD for a laptop on which I wish to steram hots at low ingame quality 1280x768 resolution and at 720p on twitch. I know that streaming laptop is an oxymoron but is this at all possible because it seems likely I may only be able to bring a laptop to college. If not possible is there anyway to use $1000 USD to get a desktop capable of streaming at 720p and atleast a decent laptop? |

| Maybe possible to do 480p, you won't be able to do 720p with that budget unless you have seriously good internet and work some magic with presets and stuff. |

Hokay so definitely impossible to do just the laptop  , awaiting build from Kami , I know you skyR and Belial are the man at desktop builds. |

gogogogogogogogogoo posted above. see if you like it. You can change out the CPU and Motherboard at a later date and get something better. an i5 2400 will do 720p at stock though. |

| I got a Lenovo IdeaPad Y480 over this summer and it works great on streaming. Even 1080p. It was around 1000 back then and now I think it is 800 |

You could stream 1080p on that? I truly dont mean to be ruse but, I don't see that happening. Maybe a decent 720p stream but 1080p? And still have it playable? |

I try to stream at about 540p on my laptop.
I7 3610qm
7750m
playing the game at 1080p and at all low settings.
I wouldn't recommend it though, when I do stream it's running at a pretty high temp, at above 80*C |

| Okay, ordering the parts today but the CPU is sold and it's about $50 more expensive wherever I find it, is there a better CPU at around a $200 USD price range? |
