Keep in Mind that Koreign Tournament has few purposes: 1- To provide a competitive environment for non pro high level players: 2- To enjoy talking and playing SC2 on the Holy KR server 3- To discover new talent and provide them exposure 4- To be there for you when your saturday starts to suck!

Masters of Koreign #6
When: Important Time Change here not Jan 12th! The tournament is now: Saturday, January 19th 2013 13:00 KST[local], make sure your alarms are set right!

Who: - High Platinum to Masters players on the Battle.net SC2 Korea : MASTERS of KOREIGN. - English Speakers. - Age: 16+ (PM for questions) - First come, First served Basis with priority list + Show Spoiler + 1. SEA/EU/NA non-progamers D/M 2. KR non-progamers D/M 3. SEA/EU/NA/Kr non-progamers P 4. SEA/EU/NA/KR semi-pro/progamers
Tournament Format: The spirit: to show that you are the best, you should have the opportunity to confront as many players as possible in one tournament. Group play helps spotting best performance while playing a minimum of 3 matches (Bo3).
- Maximum number of player: 16. - Players will be organized in pools of 4 players (Bo3). The first of each pool will go the winners' Bracket (Bo3). Following, semi finals (Bo3) and Finals (Bo5) are held. - Map pool (regular Kr ladder): detail on the website.MASTERS of KOREIGN
Prizepool: Total 100$, split amoung the 3 first players: - Winner: 65,000 KRW (65$) - Second: 25,000 KRW (25$) - Third: 10,000 KRW (10$)

Q&A: + Show Spoiler + - Why so many things to fill out? - You will have 3/16 chance to win over 10$, only the best and most determined shall stand (really filling 10 questions only takes 5 mins, with your master APM) - Any pro playing? - It is possible, however, amateur and unknown players are prioritized as long as they apply within the delay provided. - Should my Binarybeast ID match my SC2 ID? - It doesn't have to, but we strongly prefer it to avoid confusion during the tournament.
CASTERS: Koreign Jhedjuka (Main) Guest: Casting is also open to Motivated and Dynamic attendees (if your skype connection allows it)
PLUSPLUS: We have tshirts give away for active viewers in the Chat as well as games vs casters of players of the tournament to Win tshirts, Korean cookies and other stuffs.

Dear all, For family reasons, I have to postpone the tournament from Jan 12th to Jan 19th.
The time (1pm KST) remains the same. Official announcement will be made through the mailing list.
If you wish to subscribe to the mailing list, register in Koreign.com, PM me or send me an email at koreign [at] gmail [dot] com
All previous and futur players will be added to that mailing list in order to receive notification for each tournaments!

Big addition to the tournamnet prize pool: SEA power rankind seed points (total 135 for this month and 175 for next month):
Prizepool: Total 100$, split among the 3 first players: - Winner: 65,000 KRW (65$), SEA Power Ranking + 75 - Second: 25,000 KRW (25$), SEA Power Ranking + 35 - Third: 10,000 KRW (10$), SEA Power Ranking + 15 - 4th: SEA Power Ranking + 5
"75% of top 4 player in MoK, were prevalent semi-pro, proplayers at SC2." It is still one of the most demanding international tournament, the kind you want to join to actually prove yourself in a confortable setting!
If the players list is full, please continue to register as you will be placed on the waiting list and given a spot as soon as a player is designated unavailable! |
