Lol sorry for the bad title name. I didn't know how else to name it

LGD.DD

First off, congratulations LGD for defeating VG and entering into the semi-finals. How are you feeling now?

I'm feeling kind of normal, more to the happier side I guess.

What was the cause for your loss in the second game?

We lost in the early game 3v3 laning. We didn't handle it very well, and afterwards there were a lot of mistakes. The growth in all three lanes were all very bad, and afterwards it just became unrecoverable, and we lost.

Actually, when the third game started, you were at a disadvantage too. How did you all adjust after that to recover from the disadvantage to win the game?

Because VG is a new team, we just kept waiting for their mistakes because it's impossible for them to be as experienced as DK and iG to play such that their opponents have no chance at all. They overcommitted during their push onto high ground on the top lane, and we were able to fight them off and push them back. At that time, the game was started to turn around. When we had two sheep sticks, the situation was already 60% in our favour. In the end, their Naix couldn't buy back, at at the point in time we already secured the victory.

After playing against VG, what are your views on this new team?

The team used to train with us in Hang Zhou, and we've both went to each others training base to play. Their training atmosphere is really good, and they're treated really well. If such a team can completely focus and dedicate to playing, they'll definitely produce results.

Your next match is against iG, and their group stage matches can be said to be as easy for them as drinking soup. Against such a team in exceptional form, have you all found any gaps in them?

Just hope that they won't drink us like they're drinking soup, and at least have a back and forth game.

LGD.ChaoRenWa
[T/N: Not sure if he has an English ID. His original Chinese ID is 超人蛙, and ChaoRenWa is the pronunciation. It can be translated into SupermanFrog, or SuperFrog I guess hahaha. He's the leader of LGD.]

Now that both LGD teams have made it to the semi-finals, how are you feeling as the leader?

Very happy. After all, G-League is one of the biggest tournaments within the country. Our LGD.cn team has been around for a longer period, and their results have always been not bad, so for them to qualify was within my expectations, even though the process was a little more complicated. And LGD.int's qualification really makes me very happy, because I joined LGD at about the same time as they did, and I am very excited to see them achieving such results within two months. Grateful to our boss for making such a great decision.

Your teams will be facing up against TongFu and iG respectively. Which team do you think has more of a chance of advancing to the finals?

I don't think it's right to say who has more of a chance. LGD.int, facing up against TongFu, might have a comparatively higher possibility of advancing, and LGD.cn will definitely be in for a tough match facing up against the extremely strong and in form for the past half a year iG. Of course, I hope that both teams advance to the finals, but I feel that it'll be a difficult match against iG.

If both your teams advance to the finals, will the club give you all any rewards?

Haha. After the interview ends I'll probably call Ruru and ask what the decision over at their side will be. Our boss will probably be really happy. As for rewards, I guess we'll talk about it in more detail during our meeting.

The G-League Finals will probably be played after the new year. If your teams advance to the finals, you'll have a lull period in between. How would you maintain your form during this period?
[T/N: Probably talking about the Lunar New Year, which would be 10 February, because setting up the venue takes time and most of the Chinese teams will go on vacation for Lunar New Year (LGD.int is going home temporarily as well)]

For LGD.int, they'll probably be taking part in some foreign online tournaments, because they have many such tournaments in the European American scene. But the five of them are from different countries, so maybe the internet might not be too stable. Maybe they'll play more pubs I guess. As for LGD.cn, because most of them are in Hu Nan, it should be relatively more convenient when it comes to practice.

Maybe they got what they wanted. LGD.int even though they haven't really played against any western teams (if i recall correctly), is probably on a level on par with Empire/Na'Vi or more due to their bootcamp training in China.

All I know is LGD making this acquisition is showing as much promise as people were hoping it to be.

yeah basically during the lunar new year people head home and this could mean an extremely long distance for people that work in the cities and have family on the outskirts. Because of this the lunar new year holidays are extremely long, approximately 10 days at least. Since the finals is a live event, theres no way to have it during a time when no one would head out or work. The result is a long time between the finalists being decided and the winner being decided. It could mean you'll see more prepared builds as teams has longer time to study each other.

Hah. It would be awesome if lgd.int returned home only to roll over everyone in the western world. Looking forward to them playing navi/empire.

Lunar New Year is probably the most important holiday in the East Asian communities.

Bold for emphasis.

Teams get time off for the lunar new year. This includes LGD.Int, and it's not terribly surprising that they'd use the time off to go home and see their friends and family.

Thanks Weirdkid for the interview translation. Everyone goes home for the holidays. Pretty much any big project should be put on hold during this period as it is both very expensive and highly risky. So the G-League finals will take place after the New Year festival period.
