Update: PartinG joins SKT
Old post:
Source: KeSPA release via ThisIsGame
KeSPA announced on the 11th that the member teams have agreed to hold an open 'posting' process for PartinG, who has recently left Startale.
Recently teamless after his contract with Startale ended, PartinG expressed his desire to join a KeSPA team. The Association and all of its member teams have agreed on the method of PartinG's posting and the timing for his Proleague appearances.
Through the Association, PartinG has already negotiated and agreed to the terms regarding salary and joining a KeSPA team, and the process will be carried out fairly with teams desiring to acquire PartinG putting in their bids afterward.
The Association will receive bids on PartinG until the 11th, and in the case multiple teams make bids, the team to acquire PartinG will be decided on through a random drawing on the 14th with PartinG, and team and KeSPA officials present.
The above posting method will apply not only to PartinG, but all eSF players who become teamless at the end of their contracts and express their desire to join a KeSPA team.
Also, in the case this posting process occurs again for a teamless player, teams that have already acquired a player through the posting will receive a lesser priority in the bidding and lottery process.
In addition, according to the KeSPA player protection agreement, and for the fairness of Proleague competition, PartinG will be unable to play immediately after joining a KeSPA team. PartinG will be able to play in Proleague in round four, after the release of Heart of the Swarm. He may compete in individual and international tournaments without restriction

KT rolster gg. but blocking him out from WoL i think is a good move. It's like throwing the lion in the pit with tiger cubs and expecting the cubs to win.

Wow ... That's expected and unexpected at the same time O_O
Someone called it already that ESF players will go to KESPA teams lol

So the trade embargo only works on players on teams? Leaving them bypasses that? Doesn't that seem a bit.....easy?

Only if they have their contracts expire. Parting's contract expired at the end of the year. Also dislike that multiple bids results in a random drawing. It should go to whoever has the lowest ranking at the time of the 'draw' (so Samsung in this case).

I wanna see him join up with Stars, so he can wash dishes for flying again.

I don't think Parting 'left' Startale; rather, his contract expired.

Read it again, it specifically mentions players whose contracts have expired. eSF players won't be able to quit their teams on a whim to move to a KeSPA team - they have to play out their contracts.

I'm probably the only one who feels that this is an incredible betrayal.
Guess in a few months we'll never see PartinG in anything ever but SPL sometimes, OSL and maybe WCS.
