GraphicDriver has stopped responding and recovered

My screen keeps randomly turning black for maybe 5 or 6 seconds, sometimes it doesn't happen for a while, sometimes, every other minute. I have a Nvidia NVS 295 card (this is at work) I've tried looking up when it started happening and installed drivers from 2 updates before when it started. But its still having the same issues. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers in safe mode, so now I'm starting to think that it's not the driver at fault. But it seems like every other person with these issues are from overheating, but I DONT HAVE A FAN on my GPU. I wish I don't have to buy another card over this so please, any suggestions??

Your card is throttling due to heat. What are your pc specs?
Download HWmoniter and get the temps for us.
Try rolling back to a previous update.

EDIT= Also since you dont have a GPU fan, they tend to heat up quick.

Its a Xeon E5504 2.0Ghz, 4GB RAM, Nvidia 295 NVS

I just downloaded Speedfan and 60C seems ok

Im now going back to a pre-280 patch

have the same issue with my Geforce 295 ..games freezing while playing. But only in games (league esp)
Let me know if installing older driver solved the problem please

No, sadly it did not, still haven't been able to try out a new card in it yet.
