With the Heart of the Swarm release around the corner we at The GD Studio have wanted to get our hands wet with some Heart of the Swarm for a while now, but as everyone is aware, the game is still rather volatile at its current state as its still being tweaked and the pros are still working to figure out the ins and outs of the new units and maps.
Finally, we are Happy to announce our $2000 Heart of the Swarm KOTH show match series. Of course KOTH stands for King of the Hill, always a fun format, We have decided to take it a step further, and utilize a BO3 format. As previously mentioned HOTS is volatile enough, and we wanted to use a format that would be rewarding for both players, and viewers. With $125 being awarded per BO3 win ($500 given out per night) and the opportunity to adjust and learn from your opponent in a BO3 series as opposed to the traditional BO1 KOTH style, this format should provide some very entertaining and educational games for the viewers.
Broadcast live as Always from our studio in Stockholm Sweden, Apollo will be the primary commentator assisted by Adebisi to look at the ins and outs of all games being played, aiming more to use the games to learn about what we can expect in the future months once HotS is released as the game becomes more refined and a stable meta-game is found.

More players will be announced as broadcast dates draw closer, if your favourite player has been grinding a lot of Heart of the Swarm feel free to suggest them Here.
At first one might feel it's unfair because Demuslim will have an easier time to qualify for next day, but remember that it pays for each match so it doesn't really matter!

There's no The Pulse this week because of CSL, next week time might be slightly different (2 hours earlier maybe), not sure would like to avoid overlapping of course but they changed their time slot recently.
I watch Starcraft.
