Refund for GSL?
Forum Index > Closed |
Page12+: This thread is for asking about refunds and discussing the refund policy, not complaining about the devalued GomTV ticket before you've looked into getting a refund or alternative options.

I feel robbed as I bought the yearly pass to watch HQ stream (that often lags) and now I can watch the same/better quality for free on twitch.

Are you sure? Well, one of the services that have been a shining standard on GOMTV is our VOD system. Although VODs will be available on TwitchTV, our easy-to-navigate, organized and edited VOD system will be available for all users who have purchased a ticket to enjoy. We need scoots back to yell at Gom like he did at Sundance over the gold subscription not getting the ppv. This is a much bigger cost for a product that has decreased a lot for what you get over free users.

Wanting to support GomTV and being forced to because they refuse to give a refund are two different things. i love to support Gom as well, but the way they just screwed paying users over angers me

On some old episodes of live on three the esports veterans there were clear that people shouldn't buy things from esports companies just out of charity to support esports. That is not a sustainable business model and it is bad if GOM has to rely on charity like yours to not die. Especially the mlg ppv episode they were clear that you should only buy it if you thought it was worth the money. I think it is hard to argue that watching vods on gom instead of twitch is worth so much money. They need a sustainable business model offering a product that is worth the price they are asking to the audience. It is possible that right now the model is blizzard pays them a bunch of money for the advertisement of their game they get if rumors were true.

GOM have proven in the past that they are willing to make changes to suit their customers (aside from the stream lag issues to Australians *cough*) so I'm sure they'll find something to make us happy.
