The past two weeks for Clarity Gaming has been some of the biggest yet as we have had some major updates and changes to our team and we now have a lot more ways for all of you to get involved!
Here we are with our most recent update: The Clarity Gaming Bi-Weekly Writeup for May 8th to May 21st, where we’ll give you a bit of information that you might have missed and possibly some hints at what we’ll be doing in the near future!
Last update we talked about our Academy showdown, with compLexity’s academy going up against our recently-formed Clarity Academy. On the 8th, we had our 9 game series against the compLexity Academy.
The match started off with Clarity’s Bails taking four consecutive games off of Poo, AGIANTSMURF, FireZerg, and SnixSnipe. There was only one game needed to finish the series off 5-0 for Clarity, but compLexity had an ace up their sleeve in the name of Kiom, taking four games from Bails, ILoveMKP, Bones, and Intense, evening up the series 4-4. With one game left we left the fate of our Academy in the hands of one Badcop. He stopped Kiom’s winning streak and secured the series for our Academy!
Great job by compLexity nonetheless, the games were all exciting and could have gone either way. It seems like the VODs have been lost in the void of Twitch, but hey, maybe that will mean we need another showmatch in the future!
As Clarity has always been dedicated to the fostering of new talent, helping out those who are overlooked, and helping the industry grow in a sustainable fashion; our community team was recently opened. It is our goal to build upon the foundation outlined here, and one day offer the type of support and team structure that only so few get right now at the top of the professional gaming industry. This foundation is the first step and eventually we hope to expand our staff to the point that we can offer structured events to players are every skill range and interest level within the community team.

With WCS America going on in the wonderful New York City, we’ve had a short-term addition of Nv's mOOnGLaDe. He is currently in the Round of 8 for WCS NA, and it's a pleasure to have him staying with us for the week leading up to the WCS America Season 1 Finals! We will be having another long term tenant in the near future, some might say the CGTF will be a “success” after this player moves in...
We really enjoy players with personalities, and what better personality to have than one that knows and cares about his fans? Welcome Jeon “ cDragon” YongSoo to our family right here , we’re glad to have him! He might be a masterful troll when he’s streaming, but later this month he will be heading to the CGTF for some rigorous training, joining the players above improving everyday!
To all Dragon fans: this doesn’t mean he will stop streaming, so be sure to tune into him at to catch his stream!
After our previous bi-weekly, we had three members of the Clarity family in WCS, with KiLLeR and Shuttle getting knocked out of their respective Premier groups in WCS America and WCS Europe, falling to both of the AM and EU Challenger Leagues. In the round of 40, they were joined by Bails coming off of a fantastic run through the Challenger League Qualifier.
Killer
Falling out of his Premier group vs. EG’s aLive, he was put up against Chinese player Top. He won the first game but unfortunately could not take the series. He will be competing in the Challenger League group stage which will act as Up and Down Matches in the North American region.

Shuttle
Meanwhile in Europe, Shuttle is still alive in the the World Championship Series. Shuttle performed very well despite having internet issues in the Clarity House. He managed to beat Uzer in his first round match 2-0, and also defeated BeastyQT in a 2-1 series. His final match in the Challenger League was against PotM SaSe. He took him out quite handily in a 2-0 series, bringing him back into the Premier League!
