Yes, I know there was a news about this 'a long time ago', but it's not confirmed until today.
Based on the official statement, Flash and sOs are not going to participate in the MLG Anaheim open qualifiers, instead they are going to the 2013_Asian_Indoor-Martial_Arts_Games

No it's not known a long time ago. Can't you show some respect? The time of MLG Anaheim was just announced a few days ago. If the two events are not time-conflicting, then Flash and sOs can still go to both events.
And they could still choose to not go but go to MLG Anaheim. But only now the information is concret.

Actually anaheims date was known a lot longer then that. It was just about sc2 we didn't' know about until recently .

It was announced about a month ago that Life was going to give up his spot to Flash in order to go to MLG Anaheim.

I know. I saw the news. But whether flash is 100% going to Asian Indoor Games was not confirmed. He can still change mind like Life did. The qualifier today basically confirms it. So I made this. And you should totally make this thread a long time ago since it's known a long time ago.

I hope life still goes. Life gave up his spot assuming MLG was going to have the same system and he'd get a paid trip as defending champion. The conditions have now changed and there will be no free trips for anyone. I hope redbull still sends Life over.

It's honestly not nearly big enough news to make a thread about.

I think I said I saw the news. But it's all about they can still change their mind. It's not confirmed until today's qualifiers from which we can be 100% certain that they are not going and not like Life who changed mind.

He's the defending champion of that silly tourney so there's some pride involved. Maybe he (or the KT company) gains more from him playing AIG then MLG.

Flash and sOs can still change their mind like Life did, because obviously MLG is more important so we have hope. It's the qualifiers today that show they are actually not going.
Asian Indoor Games--- why is this a big deal? No prize pool at all... what do the players gain out of this? I can understand Flash since he makes a 6 figure salary (probably still does anyways), but sOs...?
Does it generate a decent amount of views in Korea, at least?
