Today Karnage eSports are proud to officially announce the lineup of our new European Starcraft 2 team. After four exhausting months of searching for the right players we feel that we have finally found the right mix of new talents and experienced RTS players. We feel confident that our new players will benefit greatly from each other and that our practice environment will inspire our lineup to improve. We thus hope for success in team leagues as well as individual competitions.
Who are Karnage?
Karnage was formed in 2004 as a UK based Counter-Strike 1.6 team with a community focus. Our mission up until 2011 was to help develop players and to ready for them for a competitive gaming career. This was achieved with great success as teams with roots in Karnage moved on to play for organizations like TCM Gaming and Team Dignitas.
In 2011 we decided that we wanted to expand our organization and that we wanted to try to become a major European team. This meant that we began to invest into new games including Starcraft 2, League of Legends and other competitive titles at the time, including HoN and Battlefield 3. In May 2013 we also found it necessary to release some of UK players to make room for a more competitive international squad.
Karnage will be competing in both online team leagues and offline events throughout Europe. The team’s next event will be the Cascade Clan League Qualifier where we hope to get through the qualification stages
