You can´t play every tournament, flying every weekend is not to good for your physical condition and Acer does´nt have infinite money to fly him around either. I prefer to see him practise and rest for a bit and then see him at his best shape at Blizzcon. I´m a bit sad about the invites; IEM has said at the beginning of the season, that they base the invites on WCS points and now we have Hyun at 1900, Stardust at 1600, Life at 1075 and Flash at 900 and the stage-2 invite is not the one with the most points, but with the loudest fanboys.

Flash has to be invited because he declined his spot for the former MLG and he received a seed thanks to KeSPA.

I know, why he is invited, but I still am disappointed, that IEM furfills MLG´s old promises instead of sticking to their own invite policy, which he clearly is not a part of.

I don't like this choice too but when you have Flash in your tournament you are sure to have a good viewer numbers...

Also Flash is a decent player, he probably could make it from the open bracket into the tournament on his own (as long as he does´nt run into DRG), so there is no need to change the bracket for that.

Yes, this is an sanctioned event by blizzard, since it carries WCS points, but I doubt that blizzard required an invitation of Flash. (not that I mind seeing him)
