and isn't mislynched day 1, or shot night 1 cause my pm buddy outs me as a blue Also your spawn better appreciate the hell out of his nightly ritual XD
Kk so I have a proposal for town, In exchange for my not lurking this game, please dont kill me till day 2 XD in all games that I've decided to actually play and am in fact town I at some point make at least a moderate contribution towards the aim of catching scum. If I dont and am still active/lurking then please by all means lynch me : P.
While it would of course be ideal for me to focus all my efforts on lynching scum, circumstance and recent experience has made not dying my first matter of business. While that may seem somewhat selfish/scummy/idiotic the threat of me bieng mislynched early on is in fact a very real one. And I believe I can do town a great service by simply not getting myself killed, thereby protecting the only person I know for a fact bleeds the colour green, albiet a rather yellowish flemy hue of it.
TLDR Will catch scum in exchange for living to see another sunrise.

In all seriousness, the reason I need to ask is because I have earned the right on multiple occasions to see day 2, and that right didn't serve me a damm. So now I'm trying a different tactic, begging. Will it help if I say pretty please?

I don't think antagonizing him further is a good idea when he's actually trying to improve himself.
What better way to improve then with a huge spotlight?!!!
A calm quiet atmosphere of peace and prosperity, where there is ample food for everyone and we live joyful, fulfilling lives.
It seems like your more willing for everyone to hold hands and sing songs rather than catch mafia? You scum?
I'm just a man that enjoys peace and prosperity. Why would you infer such a person being scum rather than benevolent? Is this what the world is turning into?
So how do you catch scum? If all you purpose is peace?
He doesn't, he just convinces them to give up the thug life.

Unfortunately to get peace sometimes we must purge the lands of those who seek to disrupt that peace and manipulate it. I wish it weren't necessary.

This is a scumslip. Artanis realizes that purging the land of mafia is necessary, but wishes that he didn't have to. He is mafia and doesn't want to hurt his mafia brethren. If Artanis were truly peace-loving then he would be more than happy to rid the land of evil forces.
For the town, lynch Artanis.
I will say its actually interesting that Artanis felt the need to compromise his views his views in the slightest... Ive played voice games with him recently were he claimed jester as town in a jesterless setup.... and held his ground the whole game XD. Even though his switching up a rather trollish opinion in a rather trollish way, the fact that hes switching it at all is an unnerving thing for a secure Artanis to do ) :

So you see this compromising of trollish behavior as scummy? Interesting. Ok so you've played voice with him, can you tell me more about his trolling in particular? Maybe his playstyle, even. Haven't played much with Artanis so I can't get a feel for his feels (if you know what I mean)
I wouldnt be putting too much stock in it if he hadnt just confirmed that his voice play is affecting his forum play, but seeing as hes opened that door why not. Hes a trollish persona regardless of his alignment, hes usually pretty laid back and unwilling to compromise his own fun to win a game XD which is why him adjusting his initial stance of being a peace loving peace lover of peace due to only a little pressure coming out of IAM is interesting. I'm not willing to call him scum for it though, you could just as easily be a scum player trying to get me to secure your mislynch for you, so I'll hold off on the verdicts for now.

I found what you did curios, not scummy, cheesecakes jump on you though isn't as simple, cause it happened through me which leads me to believe he cared more about how I responded to the question then how you play in voice. Which isn't alignment indicative, it just means he's started playing the game. Right now I think there are focus points in the thread, but no actual indications of scum intent, something that is sure to change so long as we keep talking ( :

So basically you wrote 4 sentences about something you said you thought was curious, then another four sentences on why it isn't alignment indicative. You gain scumpointsᵀᴹ!
Do I level up? Btw curios doesn't mean scummy, it just means I wanna know what other people think about you, and I'll put forth my actual thoughts on you to do that and get responses that way instead of just asking bland questions. Besides, just because I'm town doesn't mean I have to tell you everything I'm thinking : P and just because I'm super awesome doesn't mean I'll have scum reads out the gate, so chew on the null reads for a while, if you actually read the process instead of sneering at the conclusion youll find both worth, and proof that I am at the very least trying to think about the game from a townie perspective.

Yamato is a townie that a lot of people expect a lot out of, in extractor trick mafia he was out there directing town discussion from the get go, here he is just kinda being silly, but it takes balls to be an unhelpful player with a helpful reputation, and the day is still young so I would say give him a bit before dropping the hammer, I doubt he'd be this trolly as scum, knowing it would draw attention to himself in exactly this fashion.

You can level up if you accumulate enough points to lynch with fire status. Currently you're at prod with a glowstick status. My problem is that you're saying a lot of things without saying anything of worth that helps us get further. On voice mafia you tend to rant a lot as well, both as town and scum, but I believe you put in more effort to push town forward and ask questions as town than as scum. I don't see you trying to figure out alignments, you're just saying nothing. The best way to prove you're town is to hunt for scum.
Actual Scum hunting is townie, building and pushing a case against someone because that's what townies do is not. What do you think of Iam pushing a reckless Yamato ? ( sigh, boring question alert.)

Yeah, so do actual scumhunting rather than feigning contributions. I'd actually like you to stop with this discourse as it's not leading us anywhere. iamp's prodding of Yamato is protown but not alignment indicative as it's very easy to do as either alignment.
Artanis I feel like this is contradictory. You call out Gumshoe for saying stuff that isn't alignment indicative, but here we are. I fail to see the point of the last sentence.
I get what he's saying, he means the act of prodding the sleeping lion doesn't say anything about Iams alignment but is in of itself pro town, because it encourages Yamato to play, which I don't neccecairely agree with, because the way iam called out Yamato was in A very accusatory tone that suggests he wouldn't actually listen to what Yamato would have to say, despite how scummy he finds him not saying anything to be. Also going by this and earlier dialogue it feels like Artanis and iam are pretty chummy / :
Artanis how is Iam more townie than me in this game? What has he done to earn your subtle approval?
Also welcome to the game Wos, what do you think of the way cheese pushes Artanis and soft defends me?

I have Iam as null, slightly leaning townie for attempting to get discussion going when everyone was still trolling. I think scum would be happy to just keep the fun up for as long as possible. I don't feel like the aggressive way of Iamp approaching Yamato is alignment indicative. I didn't feel like he was accusing as much as attempting to antagonize Yamato into contributing.
His agressive posturing got Yamato to respond in exactly the same way that he was being called out for. Which isn't all that surprising considering trolling is an easy response to anger regardless of alignment. There were better ways of getting Yamato to contribute, the one he chose sounds more like he's trying to push an eventual Yamato lynch rather than get him talking.
