there is this lady who is like 7'3+ around the Boston area. I seen here 3 times in the past year. I actualy had to sign her in the the "Top of The Hub." Even her name is more than 25 letters long (first name was like 12 letters long) not including her middle name.
I alos have had a friend for about 4+ years who is like 6'7. It is sad that their life-span is shorter than average. Well anyways, I found some pics of tall people for you guys. If there are larger than life living creatues or humans that you would like to show then go ahead. Just one question though. How would this world be different if we all were as tall as these people and would you like being that tall in the first place.
In 1976 Sandy Allen was declared the “world’s tallest woman - living” by Guinness Book of World Records. Allen is a towering lady at 7′ 7 1/4″
(7′9″) claims to be the world’s tallest man.
Hussein, who at 7‘ 9" is the world‘s tallest man, was genuinely pleased to have discovered a duvet big enough to cover even his gigantic frame.
Robert Pershing Wadlow was born, educated and buried in Alton, Illinois. His height of 8' 11.1" qualifies him as the tallest person in history, as recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. At the time of his death he weighed 490 pounds.

| I'd like to be taller, but thats too tall. The thing is they just aren't bigger, but they are disproportionately bigger, and that looks awkward. |

| I am 195 cm. I wish I was around 185. Being tall kind of sucks. I hate travelling by a car or a bus for a longer period of time, can't really stretch myself in bed, I still hit my head when passing doors and I hit people with my arms in a disco. When I make a nice block in a basketball game, nobody appreciates it, when I get blocked, it's embarassing. I really like latino dancing, but it's 10x harder to move nice and turn smooth and easy, when you have to move the tower. |

I would like to be a few inches taller idealy around 6" - 6"1.
That tall just causes problems for their joints and such. Also a pain in the ass as all clothes have to be made specially, bed.. etc cost a fortune!! |

The people on the pictures aren't just tall, they a condition known as gigantism or something like that. Their limbs, bones don't stop growing, and it's usually means they look more bony, like cheekbones, brow are more pronounced, joints are thicker etc.
Also, the human heart isn't designed to handle that, so no, they don't have a long life. |

i m like 2m (6'7 or something) doesnt really matter that much, hardly/doesnt bothers me. small cars suck, occasionally bump my head while walking through doors. finding shoe's can be a pain, though clothes are no problem (thanks to everybody wearing their clothes 3 sizes too big ) very usefull as well at times... finding people or people finding you in a crowd, people wont mess with you (unless its some little piece of shit frustrated about being half my size). uhm... think thats about it.
then again, this really isnt that tall. if i could have picked i would have said 190, but this is fiiiiiine just fine.
oh and: there s a lady who's sure... all that glitters is gold... and she's buying shalalLast edit: 2006-10-13 06:40:45 |

I myself am 6'9'' (about 206-7 cm?) and its quite weird being tall. Clothes are hard as fuck to find, and its just funny walking by old ladies who always stare awkwardly |

even being 6'1" can be lame.
My shirts shrink and shit in the wash. XXL is too big, XL is fine but too short. I need XL tall shirts or they look gay on me =[
so gay =[, i dont feel like im tall(and at 6'1" im not reallY) because i was always relatively average height throughout my life |
