| Weed high usually last 1-2 hours for me. So at 3 i thought it would be a good idea for me to smoke with my friends before having dinner with parents at 5:30. I ended up acting like a retard the whole time. It's 6:52 right now and I am still high, it's been 3 hours and 52 minutes. Wtf? Is there a way to sober up? |

firstly, you may consider that you havent been smoking long enough to decide when you can balance out weed highs and social interactions in which you ought not be weedhigh.
second, smoking does make you 'high' for a certain amount of time, however it will affect your mindset and the way you act / respond to things for the whole day, until your circadian rhythm resets(after you go to sleep for the night)
I suggest smoking when you know its going to be ok to be high, and enjoying the HELL out of it!

Most of my friends and I are all more than capable of social interaction while stoned, even fresh off smoking a bowl.
I've never experienced this feeling of "being retarded" while high.....oh well I'm not complaining.
But it's not rare for me and my crew (mainly 4 dudes, 3 in Utah and 1 in NY, plus me) would smoke during school and come back to the next class baked, or smoke at parties, or smoke and just chill outside talking to people we ran into we knew. Smoking at work is even a no big deal kinda thing.
So often I hear from my "stoner" friends out here "oh I have to work tomrrow, I can't smoke tonight." and I'm just flat out confused.....I used to smoke DURING work, and I had to take calls and put in orders for delivery, help the servers and bus/clean all the tables/chairs in the restaurant and even be the host, standing up at the counter seating people.
Frequently I would literally be smoking out back with the prep cook, taking a few hits off his pipe or a joint he rolled in the bathroom, while I'm out smoking a ciggy and see a car pull in. So that means I have to exhale that hit I just took before I walked out to look at the parking lot and go seat those people.
I had no problems. |

I too am confused, but more by you than your friends. For some who clearly has some experience with bud, you seem to have overlooked that weed affects some people very differently from others. I think its pretty naive to feign confusion at people who feel like being stoned will inhibit their ability for social interaction. |

Same here. I can handle being around other strangers who are baked pretty well, but I'm most comfortable with close friends or by myself, mainly because I can be a little retarded sometimes haha. It's fucking hilarious with friends, but I can't help but feel judge and have a bad high when like that around others.

Hmm I've always wanted to try salvia again. I've only tried it once, and I was extremely drunk when I did. I didn't have a visual trip in particular, although that's what you are supposed to get as far as I know.

I was tripping balls all right, but I after I put down the bong after 3-4 good hits I suddenly found myself deep in the woods looking for my friend who had supposedly gone missing recently. When I talked to people the next day about it they said I just ran off in to the woods looking for him when someone asked me if I saw my friend Andrew. All I could hear was the rescue heroes theme song in my head as I was running, and I had the outfit on and everything too. I ended up finding him passed out by a log, so I imagine he was out taking a leak after having too much to drink and passed out. Picked him up on my shoulder and carried him back to the bush party and everyone was like "wtf just happened?". The trip wore off shortly after that. It was intense lol |

I immediately realize how badass weed is, so I stop being an alcoholic.

I'm actually interested because I take these prescribed by my doctor. I am like many... I take more than recommended by the doctor(big deal), and I've never really worried..

this is called the high thread, and the post says bud, but if anyone here dabbles in other drugs such as pills, you have to try one called opanas.
it is by far the strongest buzz you could ever find. it's oxy-esque, but much more potent and approximately the same price. much more strong than cocaine or crack ever thought about being.
