of course it's like, reading my previous post (can I publish like in the serial editions of Dickens, one chapter or paragraph at a time?) that I try it's sequel, to convey something that I believed at the time was a finished thought, but was in fact, nowhere near fucking close, and now what I wanted to say was I wanted to bring you out into my life. Things are normal, we smoke together with this thing that's like half as cheap as a volcano, but just as good, we're at that stage of getting high where we're starting to resent people who say no to it like they are 'better' than something, like weed is a definite step below alcohol, and we have some great sessions in our common room after we take flight/get blunted. Why? I also have to comment on the balance issue. I've followed the scene relatively in and out over the last few months, so forgive me if my info is spotty concerning games. What i did see was the round of eight GSL, pulling all nighters to watch Naniwa instead of studying for my Statistics final.
There seem to be a flurry of highly qualified, highly skilled Protosses, whose dismantling of terran and zerg opponents do not look by any means undeserved--solid decision making, multitasking, never negligient micro or macro--but who appear to be taking GSL and foreign tournaments literally by storm. The issue lies with the fact that other players of other races, who are also highly competent and deserved and skill, appear to be winning noticeably less, instead of the ideally-even racial distribution that is assumed by the large pool of the very high competitions and are backed by hard data. Is this imbalance or luck? Is it another monthly fluctuation in the metagame or will Blizzard have to reappear to exact deistic balance changes, instead of playing the role of an observing clockmaker, described by Thomas Jefferson. As ESPN knows, good sports have the best stories.
