So its official, Itachi was just too badass to live, or he would break the Naruto-verse. I almost hope that Kishi will pull a MASSIVE plot no jutsu where Naruto uses Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life and brings him (and other assorted badasses) back. I figure since Nagato could bring back half of Konoha, the SoSP and by extension Naruto (and maybe Madara?) could do a lot more with it.
He'll probably try to convince Sasuke no to continue the cycle of hate, fail, then die for the last time with a smile on his face.
Oh yeah, I bet Naruto and Sasuke's fight is going to end the same way as their last one, except Naruto wins.

Good chapter and I'm not even an Itachi fanboy. Really looking forward to this Uchiha bros vs. Kabuto fight and seeing how Sasuke manages to fuck things up. Also time for Kabuto to potential stop being all talk and actually fight for himself for once (though this still might be wishful thinking).
Also really hoping something about this causes Oro to come back or maybe Oro has already taken over Kabuto's body and we will be finding out about that shortly. I think Oro thought things out too much to actually be dead and perhaps his plan all along was to get "killed" by Sasuke and then take over Kabuto's body while he waits for Sasuke to get EMS. With Suigetsu and Jūgo finding whatever they found I feel like there is actually a high chance that something like this will unfold shortly. |

| talk about being fucked...having the uchiha bros after you both with eternal mangekyou at their peak is honestly worst than any other thing i can imagine besides fighting madara himself...i don't see why he's still so confident in fighting both of them when his trump card was used somewhere else...i don't care what he summons now he's so screwed. something tells me if itachi does explain the truth himself to sasuke, sasuke might just team up with naruto and face madara / tobi. something tells me the kages aren't going to win vs madara and eventually run out of chakra / worn down. considering that itachi was probably the most hated by sasuke and was his original goal, i can't see why he would hate naruto more than he does itachi, so the fact he allied himself with itachi kinda gives leeway for a possible naruto / sasuke vs madara scenario. For the sake of disambiguation, I don't think we should call the masked dude madara anymore. We should simply refer to him as Tobi. I had a friend in high school named Toby so that's a good name. |

Hmmm. Should be interesting. More so; Madara is all like...crap...she can heal with out seals...just like the first. Uh..kay.
Multi wood clone jutsu. Yeaaaa. 5 v 1 fair odds.... even if they are clones. They are clones of Madara + Rinnegan. Kage's = dead. But, I don't think Garaa should die...he's still a good character.
Itachi + Sasuke vs Kabuto? Oh...god. Gunna be neat to see. He did say he would use Tsukyomi which well....why say what your gunna do. Means asfar as we know. Both are already under genjutsu at the moment and just don't know it. That would be a REALLY interesting senario....I mean. He did look Sasuke in the eye. So...
And to have both in a Tsukyomi, where you have Sasuke fighting with you? Hey lets see how strong you are now little brother. |

if Itachi was there during the entire Edo Tensei (killing the body, activating the jutsu, scribing the talisman and implantation) then hed be able to copy the Edo Tensei
the only thing the Sharingan cant copy is sign less Jutsu, technically he could copy a bloodline limit but hed need to actually have the proper chakra for it so while he would know the Theory he wouldnt be able to use that theory

Anyone else think the first page is a little funny? I mean it's literally the world's 10 strongest ninjas + an 11th who is back from the dead, vs three people. The villains in Naruto are OP.
I'm very curious to see what Kabuto has up his sleeve. Tobi had the Jinchuuriki, and Madara is ungodly strong, but Kabuto usually relies on preparation and advanced ninja-science. He's been talking about wanting Sasuke all this time, so you have to figure he's got a plan to defeat him. And any plan for defeating Sasuke in his current state has to be able to deal with his eye techniques. In other words, if it will work against Sasuke, it should work vs Itachi, too. The only question is: what's the plan???

You bring up a good point..one of the "underlying messages" in Naruto was that the new generation of ninjas would always be stronger than the last. But that turns into total BS since it takes an entire force of "current" kage's to take on a non-kage from hundreds of years ago (granted, this non-kage is scariest Uchiha + Hashirama face on his belly, but still).
Of course, this could just be because they're totally downplaying all the other current ninja's skills, just like Naruto's skill/ability was downplayed for most of season 1. For example, Ino's ability to take complete control over a single adversary? I know it has its weaknesses but if it succeeds, it's a pretty DAMN powerful skill. That seems pretty useful right now considering there's like very low number of targets to use it on. |

her ability is a projectile with a slow movement, Madara wouldnt get hit by it in a million years even if he had his eyes closed and only walked using his hands and no ninja techniques

Itachi is my hero <3 !!! he is so fucking badass i cant wait to see his most powerful jutsu on that little bitch Kabuto.
and dont tell me he doesnt have an even more badass jutsu then he has shown us. bc we all know that he is still mysterious to us and he has done a lot in the akatsuki and you all know it! <3 i want to see

Y Ino's mind control sux and as far as I remember there was some guy that threw her out of his mind with pure strenght or something (it was in the filler eps after sasuke left).But he has a point and I have also thought that there are downplayed ninjas with some pretty powerfull kits. I mean lets take Kabuto's medical hands bla bla no jutsu.He was useless at that time and that jutsu still did massive dmg.Imagine someone fast having that jutsu. Or think about the parasite guy who fought Kiba. Basically he can just insert himself in people and GG. Or any hyuuga gentle fist gg.
Or how about Hidan. For all we know that guy is still alive, just trapped. Everybody seems to have blood from this and that guy. Just dig up Hidan leave a bunch of blood samples and let him clean house.I mean seriously why does that guy even have to leave the couch at his home. Send people to scratch the enemy go back home and Hidan will have the job done.
OR now that I think about it.Bring old people to the battle. Like grandma Chiyo (remember she ressurected gaara? ). Old people can basically use their ressurection spell on Madara who is technically dead to bring him back to life and then they can kill him properly.
Or haha (I know nagato is sealed now but..) use 1 old guy to ressurect Nagato, then Nagato ressurects everybody.The old guy wouldn't even die.He'd die for Nagato and then Nagato would die for him = infinite moneyz.

1. its possible Hidan has other resttrictions with the blood like age, and judging by his personality hed refuse to do that work anyway
2. only Granny Chiyo can use that Jutsu she never taught it to anyone else
3. for every Sharingan an Uchiha loses thats one Sharingan they wont have and its more effective in an uchiha it would be smarter to make them kill there best friend to awaken MS then res the friend
4. the reaper death seal isnt a super jutsu as the 4th showed pretty effectively and it kills the caster, no small fry would be able to get close enough to Madara and remain close enough for a long enough amount of time for the reaper to get his hand into him

"Possible that Hidans has resttrictions" seems kind of a weak argument to me.If anything I think Konoha would have nothing to lose to test it out.And it's not like Hidan wouldn't cooperate.Doubt he'd chose eternity being burried in pieces over betraying a bunch of guys he didn't even care about to begin with.
Also the way Shikamaru tricked him proves that you can use stored blood.And even if that's exactly the maximum amount of time they can store the blood (which is highly unlikely) it's still enough time for someone to poke the enemy and bring him the sample.Last edit: 2012-03-17 01:07:37 |
