Nadal played his normal game, he was just outclassed.
Noone in the world can outclass Nadal or Federer if they play their normal games. Yes, they are that good.

nadal was trying to play his normal game. Tsonga wouldnt let him. The only real problem with nadal's game was his serve. He had almost no unforced errors, and made a fair number of good returns.
When your opponent is doing such insane slices and drops combined with a thundering serve, not much anyone can do.

It was amazing how he kept making those drop volleys and playing lights out tennis for 3 sets straight. I think those gave him tremendous confidence. While I don't think he'll be able to play like that for 3 straight sets in the final, if he brings that confidence, I think he'll have a great chance at winning the AO. But Djokovic was also very impressive, despite Federer seemingly choke at the vital moments. This should be a great final.

See? Djokovic didn't play that well in the 1st set and Tsonga was hitting everything, then he stepped up and put some pressure to Tsonga, who never again in the match looked like the guy in the 1st set, started to make a lot of unforced errors.
Nadal couldn't do that, Nadal didn't step up a single moment that day. Between guys at the level of current top 3, if some player roll over the other, like Djokovic 62 63 62 Federer, it's because one of them played well and the other didn't play so well.
Depend's very much on day form.
Now congrats to Novak Djokovic, I'm looking forward to see him winning other slams in the future. Very good player. Would like to see Tsonga winning too, he looks very good.

:/ I was wanting to see Federer win a golden slam this year... I hope he can at least win at the Olympics and the French. Maybe this will be a good learning experience for him. Gratz Djokovic.
